Paige Blankenship
- Producer
- Production Manager
- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
Paige Blankenship is a line producer, currently full-time for global creative production agency, Blink. She started directing at age 13, making her way to award-winning director by age 23 for her short documentary "Walker World: A Work In Progress". With a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and a Leadership Studies Minor from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Paige founded and operated a production company in 2016 in Downtown Wilmington, NC, producing commercials for local businesses as well as start-ups at the UNCW Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
After a profitable first year in business, and recognizing her passion for the business side of filmmaking, Paige relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 2018 as an aspiring producer. Paige freelanced as a UPM, 1st Assistant Director, and Production Coordinator around Southern California, while also working full time for a talent agency and an entertainment law firm. She gained experience in various roles on independent projects, studio features, and television shows before she was inducted into IATSE 871 in 2021. In her spare time, Paige attended UCLA School of Law extension program (2019) with a focus on Entertainment Law, earned her certificate in Production Accounting from Entertainment Partners Academy (2020), and served as an ambassador for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Paige is currently a voting member of the Television Academy and a mentor through the Hollywood Radio & Television Society.
After forming the NC fILM forum in 2017 (a popular monthly mixer for professionals in the NC film industry that still meets to this day), Paige missed having a homegrown community initiative. In the summer of 2023, she launched her first LA-based community event with the mission of fostering a safe space where women in media, entertainment, and arts could gather to have meaningful conversations about the female experience in this industry, while still networking! After the event's impact continued to ripple success through the lives of the women who attended, it became clear this type of initiative is a necessity in the Hollywood community. Paige has continued to keep these mixers going on a regular basis under the title "Women of Hollywood" thanks to sponsorship from FiLM iNDEPENDENT!
"With a passion for storytelling and the drive it takes to motivate a group of individuals towards fulfilling a common goal, I thrive in projects that require leadership skills, fast thinking, and meticulous planning. I'm a people person that loves to work in tight teams where collaboration is the motivation & humor keeps the ball rolling." - Paige Blankenship
