Like the hair of a Chia pet Troll doll, the "Trolls" franchise seems to never stop growing. The glittery DreamWorks reimagining of Thomas Dam's ugly-cute collectibles kicked off in 2016 with the music-filled animated adventure movie "Trolls." Since then, the movie has spawned two sequels, two holiday specials, two TV shows, a series of short films, and countless toys and tie-ins. It's also picked up an Oscar nomination (for Justin Timberlake's song "Can't Stop the Feeling!") and a cool $600 million at the box office (per Box Office Mojo) despite one of its three installments debuting during pandemic lockdown.
The "Trolls" movies are successful, but they aren't exactly the most coherent kids' movie franchise around. If you're anything like me, you've likely caught bits and pieces of several movies, potentially out of order, when the little ones in your life decided to watch (and rewatch ... and rewatch) them. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 continued on February 2 with episode 5 on MTV. Airing concurrently with the main show is its tea-spilling, backstage-focused sister series “Untucked,” now in its 15th season. For this week’s challenge, the 12 remaining queens wrote and performed original verses as the newly fashioned girl groups Q.D.S.M, Lovah Girlz, and Thicc & Stick. Geneva Karr, Megami, Nymphia Wind, and Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige were declared the winners for their performance of “A.S.M.R. Lover” and made their way backstage to the “Untucked Lounge” while the other two groups received critiques from the judges.
Gagged that they were able to win the challenge together, the first topic on their minds was how they’d go about dividing $5,000 among the four of them equally. But more importantly, they deserved to pat themselves on the back for proving the rest of the girls wrong because they...

Fresh off a headline-making reunion, Nsync is back with its first release in nearly 20 years, “Better Place.” The single was released on Friday as part of the “Trolls Band Together” soundtrack.
With 19 years passing since Justin Timberlake left the group and 10 since their last group performance, rumors about Nsync reuniting at the VMAs came with reports of the group recording their now-revealed “Better Place” track part of the third “Trolls” installment.
The film will follow Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake), who are officially a couple. Poppy quickly realizes that Branch has a hidden past as a member of the boy band BroZone with his four brothers who seemingly reunite in the film’s trailer. Noticeably, the trailer, too, includes references to Timberlake’s boy band roots:
“Branch, we’re out of synch. We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: The backstreets!

The Streamy Awards are promising big moments at their 13th annual ceremony on Sunday, including performances from Swedish duo Icona Pop to a reunion of Smosh comedy creators Ian and Anthony. But for presenter, drag star and podcast host Shea Couleé, the onstage moment she is most excited about is the appearance of TikToker Dylan Mulvaney.
Mulvaney is set to join Couleé, Tana Mongeau and WWE superstars Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega at the event. Icona Pop will release their new album Club Romantech on September 1st. This is the Swedish party-pop duo’s first album in 10 years, following 2013’s This Is…Icona Pop.
“As Icona Pop, we can release a pop tune or a super hard dance song, and that’s who we are. When we started to write this album, we didn’t have any rules. We just had a vision we wanted to share with our fans. We’re inviting them into our world,” members Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt offered in a statement.

Galantis’ Christian Karlsson didn’t know that the “different wiring” in his brain had a name growing up. It wasn’t until he was an adult that he was diagnosed with Adhd and he finally was able to bring “clarity to the chaos.”
“My brain has the motor of a Ferrari and the brakes of a bicycle,” he tells Rolling Stone. “And the only way I had been able to sustain was by keeping it activated non-stop with music.”

When the Hives released their last album, in 2012, the Swedish garage-rockers didn’t plan on waiting 11 years to follow it up. Unfortunate, unforeseen events just kept getting in their way. The trouble started in 2013, when bassist Dr. Matt Destruction left the group due to health problems; continued in 2019, when drummer Chris Dangerous was temporarily sidelined following major stomach surgery; and the capper came in 2020, when the pandemic made it impossible for any of them to travel to America to record.

Life Is Beautiful kicked off on Friday in the heart of Las Vegas, with thousands of festival-goers scurrying to the Sin City for the buzzy three-day show that turns Vegas’s eclectic downtown into a psychedelic desert amusement park.
The Life Is Beautiful footprint takes up 18 blocks of downtown Las Vegas, an area of town once known for cheap drinks, seedy motels and a string of pawn shops. However, this slice of Vegas has turned into a hipster haven known for funky art installations, home-grown farm-to-table restaurants and, cheap drinks.

Arriving just in time to kick off the holiday season, A Bad Moms Christmas is exactly as structurally safe and verbally vulgar as one might expect. Based off the success of the amusing first installment, the table was easily set for a holiday version with a few new additions. This time, our beloved bad moms each have bad moms of their own, who all conveniently show up to ruin Christmas in one way or another. Each of them (Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines, and Susan Sarandon) serve as foils to their respective children, and predictable conflict ensues.
Baranski’s uptight, Hines is clingy, and Sarandon is too flaky to be trusted. And with these trope-y conflicts, we’re off to the races. They push our original bad moms to their breaking points early on, and they decide that they have to take Christmas back. This means swapping elaborate Christmas decorations and...

My favorite character on Girls is Elijah who is played by Andrew Rannells, who by the way I argue needs his own show. And above just about everything else I think the most entertaining moments on the show are the interactions that he and Hannah have. There’s just something so incredibly genuine about their chemistry. Lena Dunham and Rennells are brilliant together and every time I watch these two I’m magically whisked back into my 20s and almost want to live in my dingy studio apartment again. But perhaps no scene in Girls with these two is better than the

If Icona Pop make you think of one thing, it’s dancing. The electro-pop duo have tunes that’ll make feet move all night long, and their new single, “Brightside,” isn’t any different. After releasing the song last month, the girls are now dropping a super fun music video to accompany it.
Much like most of their music videos, the visual to “Brightside” is nothing but a blast. Icona Pop take over an empty hotel, dancing their way in various parts of it in this party for two. That’s the cool thing about this clip – there’s nobody else in it except for members Caroline and Aino, and it makes for something pretty unique. Speaking with Vogue, Icona Pop say they styled it themselves and did the video with a very small team. Clearly, there’s beauty in simplicity.

Three years have passed since Icona Pop arrived to the U.S. scene with their first international album, This Is… Icona Pop, but they haven’t been entirely M.I.A. since then. This year, they released a collaborative single, “Weekend,” with DJ duo Louis the Kid, and even put out a standalone track in “Someone Who Can Dance.” None of these acted as proper lead singles for a new album, though, because that comes today with the electric “Brightside.”
“Brightside” is filled with charm as the mid-tempo earthy jam plays through, and a nice piano line leads into a catchy, albeit uninspired, chorus. It’s far from their strongest effort, but Icona Pop does accomplish some interesting things with “Brightside.” More importantly, it’s enjoyable enough to keep everyone’s attention until more new music arrives, even if the track isn’t all that original.

After collaborating with Swedish duo Icona Pop over the summer with their single “Weekend,” Louis The Child are back with a new single titled “Fire.” Teaming up with up and comer Evalyn who handles the vocal duties on the new single, the Chicago based duo craft a smooth production with a pop friendly sheen.

Louis The Child and Swedish duo Icona Pop have teamed up on a new single, delivering an upbeat party anthem in the form of “Weekend.” An ode to excess and blurred nights, the new song is the perfect soundtrack for your rowdy weekends parties this summer, even if they happen to fall on a weekday.
Sonically, the new single features a top 40 friendly sound complete with rolling 808 beats, mellow instrumentation and catchy hooks. Louis The Child offer up a restrained production that blends pop and dance music while placing emphasis on the vocals. The video for “Weekend” expands on its lyrical themes, featuring a group of friends heading out for a night on the town as Icona Pop narrate the tale of binge drinking and night life.

It’s two chicks who you’re imagining to be incredibly gorgeous because of their broken English. It’s seriously just letting it all out and dancing your butts off. Plus I have

James Corden, Russell Brand, Gwen Stefani, Kunal Nayyar (“The Big Bang Theory”), comedian Ron Funches and Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop will lend their voices to DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls,” which stars Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake. Timberlake will also serve as the executive music producer for “Trolls,” so he’ll write and perform original music for the animated film and oversee the creative direction of the music for the movie.
