So You Think You Can Dance 2013 Fik-Shun & Amy Yakima won the whole show tonight. Tonight's finale show, kicked off with another group performance from all the top 20 dancers. Then periodically, over the course of 2 hours, the judges selected some dance routines that they wanted to see again. Some of them included: Fik-Shun and Twitch's hop-hop number. Amy and Fik-Shun also did another cool, hip hip routine. They showed new scenes from an awesome new dance movie that's coming out, called, "Battle Of The Year." It includes b-boy dancer, Dominic Sandoval, from season 3. Then dancers from the movie, hit the stage to do a wicked hip hop routine at one point. Haley and Nico hit the stage to do an encore routine. Even the judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, hit the stage to do a routine, and I was quite surprised to see how well Nigel could move. I...

Countless contestants thought they could dance, but in the end, only two were worthy of being named America’s favorite dancers. The 10th season of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance came to a close Sept. 10, pitting the final four dancers – Amy Yakima, Jasmine Harper, Fik-Shun and Aaron Turner — against each other one last time. So who won the whole shebang?
Warning: Spoilers ahead!
‘Sytycd’ Season 10 Winners Revealed
And the winners are… Amy and Fik-Shun!
Jasmine and Aaron gave it a valiant effort all season, but unfortunately, they were just no match for Amy and Fik-Shun’s skill and likability.
Though the show’s season finale was briefly interrupted by President Obama‘s speech about the crisis in Syria — as well it should have been — the madness quickly resumed,...

Well, dance fans, all the hard work, tears and glitter (thank you, Cat Deeley!) has come down to this: tonight we learn who has won the competition.
The fantastic four of Amy Yakima, Jasmine Harper, Aaron Turner and DuShaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall danced five times last week to win your votes, and their performances were sensational.
So which guy and girl have been chosen as America's favorite dancers and So You Think You Can Dance champions? Before we learn that, I predict that we will celebrate this season with lots (and lots) of dancing.

Now, this is obviously the climax of So You Think You Can Dance‘s tenth season, and we’re all having a great time watching it like thriving gay Americans. Yes. Jasmine Harper? Is a tower of wonderful legs. Amy Yakima? Is a fountain of Christmas morning smiles. Aaron Turner? Is fine burliness. Fik-Shun? Is charming and robotized. We smile at the collective limberness and shake our butterscotch manes in disbelief like Mary Murphy. “Squawk, squawk, I love these dancers!” we hoot, waving our conductor hat from atop the sinister Hot Tamale locomotive on its way to Istanbul.
But you’ll have to forgive me. Because there’s a more important matter we have to discuss. Usually I’d reserve some space here to notify you that guest judge Gabby Douglas‘s criticisms were sweet but unnecessary, or that I miss the good ol’ days of Adam Shankman‘s guest-judging,...

It was sad to say goodbye to Hayley Erbert and Paul Karmiryan last week when, for the first time, America had total control of the vote.

So You Think You Can Dance 2013 eliminated Haley Herbert & Paul Karmiryan tonight,August 27th. Tonight's elimination show ,kicked off with another group performance from the top 6 dancers after host, Cat Deeley, did her whole introduction thing. Then they jumped right into the performances this week. It was also revealed that the judges would not be able to save anyone at this stage of the competition. The performances went on for almost 2 hours, and featured top 6 dancers, Fik-Shun,Haley Erbert, Jasmine Harper,Paul Karmiryan, Amy Yakima, and Aaron Turner, doing their solos. At one point, they each danced with past champions, and so on ,and so forth. Haley served up a wicked hip hop performance, which I totally dug since that's not really her thing. After all the performances finally wrapped up, they showed a recap of the final three girls' time on the show before revealing that Amy Yakima and...

I’ll post my full recap of tonight’s performances later on; in the meantime, discuss! The two going home are….

Let's hop aboard the So You Think You Can Dance train as we steam toward the finale! Last week, we bid farewell to Jenna Johnson and Tucker Knox. That leaves six dancers left in the competition: Hayley Erbert, Amy Yakima, Jasmine Harper, Aaron Turner, Paul Karmiryan and DuShaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall.
The level of dancing talent this year is amazing, and the competition is so close! It is sad that tonight we have to say goodbye to two more dancers. I think that being cut so close to the finals may be the most heartbreaking elimination of all.

You won’t see Emmy-nominated So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Sonya Tayeh back on set for the rest of season 10 — she’s in New York in full rehearsals for The Last Goodbye, a Romeo and Juliet-based rock musical directed by Alex Timbers that’ll open in San Diego this fall. But she and her giant earrings will surely still be there in hot-blooded, aggressive spirit. EW spoke to Tayeh, known for her intense, demanding training process and “combat jazz” dance style, about what’s been “overall a really emotionally connected season.” Every one of the six remaining dancers,...

Agggghhh. The former partners (pre-All-Star episodes this season) just told Cat Deeley their favorite parts of the competition were meeting each other and becoming best friends!
