Justin has over 30 years experience in network television production, post-production and animation. He has worked for major networks in Australia, as well as high end post-production houses and successfully owned and operated his own production and post-production business.
Justin founded ithinkasia in 2012 in Phnom Penh, the first animation studio in Cambodia to provide professional animation services for feature film and television series to international studios. His work attracted global attention in 2017 when he co-produced and completed work on the animated feature film, Funan, which won Best Feature Film at the Annecy International Animation Festival in 2018. The studio was also credited for significant service work on feature film Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles which recently won the best animated feature film award at the 32nd European Film Awards. Ink Animation was incorporated in April 2019, the new studio provides outsourcing services in 2D animation for US and European client studios while also developing original content for distribution. Ink Animation will scale up to over 400 artists by 2022.
