Our interviews with Joe Hill seem to be turning into an ongoing conversation: when we last left off with the author of novels like Horns and The Fireman, as well as comics like Locke & Key, the first season of AMC’s NOS4A2 — based on his third novel — was just wrapping up and a second season was confirmed.
Nearly a year later, we’re picking up with Hill right where we left off, as NOS4A2 begins its second set of episodes under returning showrunner Jami O’Brien. When we last saw paranormally gifted teenager Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings), she had defeated the malevolent psychic vampire Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto), although the cost was her dearest friend, her ability to bend reality and find lost things, and her life as she knew it.
Season 2 picks up eight years later, with Vic now a mom and living a different life with her eight-year-old...

If you have ever watched NOS4A2, then you must have noticed one purple-haired character, Maggie Leigh. Her real name is Jahkara Smith, and her way to the screen was purely coincidental, unlike those who are set on becoming actors from an early age. She may not have straight teeth or hair, but her presence on the internet has been felt internationally. Here is everything you need to know about the 23-year-old:. 1. She is a social media queen One video catapulted Jahkara into the famous person she is today. She posted “Contouring 101;” a video full of political satire but

The celebrated author reflects on the AMC horror series as NOS4A2 season one comes to a close.
This Sunday night (Jul. 29) will mark the season one finale of NOS4A2, the acclaimed AMC horror series based on the epic novel from Joe Hill.
The show is going out with a bang, as episodes nine and ten will air back to back, and the good news for fans is that AMC officially renewed the program for a second season last week, announcing at San Diego Comic-Con that it will return to continue the story of two young, strangely gifted women, Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) and Maggie Leigh (Jakhara Smith), as they battle the ancient psychic vampire and child killer known as Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto).
While the ratings for NOS4A2 have been steady if not spectacular, Hill told us when we spoke with him at Comic-Con that he’s...

Are you ready for Zachary Quinto to scare the heck out of you as he once did on Heroes?
If so, you're in the right place. Quinto is taking on a role that even though I'm currently reading the book is still quite mysterious.
Christmas-themed horror is nothing new, but it always makes your heart skip a beat. Much like Happy! on Syfy, N0S4A2 will make you think twice about the wonders of Christmastime.

"Christmasland is waiting for you..." Earlier this year, AMC officially greenlit a TV series based on Joe Hill's novel NOS4A2, and it was later announced that the lead actors for the series would be Zachary Quinto and Ashleigh Cummings (Hounds of Love). Now, fittingly just days before Christmas, Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first photo of Quinto as the malevolent, soul-sucking Charlie Manx.
You can view the full photo of Quinto as Charlie Manx below, courtesy of EW. Although NOS4A2 will initially air on AMC in 2019 as a 10-installment adaptation of Hill's novel, showrunner Jami O’Brien told EW that the ultimate goal is to "expand" the world of Hill's book in potential future seasons:
“There’s no limit to the number of folks that we could meet that have interesting powers and interesting landscapes that they inhabit.”
