Dancing With the Stars' Peta Murgatroyd is expressing her grief following the passing of dancer and choreographer Serge Onik. On Wednesday, Aug. 25, Peta took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos of the former So You Think You Can Dance contestant, including several shots of the two of them together. Serge, who worked with Peta and her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, on choreography for DWTS, was 33 years old, and his representative confirmed the death to E! News on Tuesday, Aug. 24, although further details have not been publicly disclosed. "My Serge…..my Koala I can't believe it, I am completely broken," Peta wrote. This is an exciting week, dance fans! Not only are the top 10 dancers taking the So You Think You Can Dance stage, but they have some amazing company. The All-Stars are back, baby! I think of the All-Stars' return like a school reunion, if all your friends were athletic, talented, and not too hard on the eyes.
Sadly, we lost four So You Think You Can Dance competitors last time: Carly Blaney, Emily James, Serge Onik, and Teddy Coffey.
This week also features a musical performance by Christina Perri, who will sing "Burning Gold." I am ready for a jam-packed show. Is your favorite dancer safe?
Here we go! This is the So You Think You Can Dance live blog!

This was an amazing week of entertainment on So You Think You Can Dance. There were breathtaking routines and we learned who has earned a coveted position in the top ten. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to four couples this week: Carly Blaney, Emily James, Serge Onik, and Teddy Coffey.
So what does fate have in store for the remaining dancers? Let's try our best to figure out which So You Think You Can Dance competitors may be in danger of elimination. Will your favorite dancer be safe?...

How can I adequately express my feelings about So You Think You Can Dance‘s Top 14 performance show? Allow me to take a cue from Paramore’s Hayley Williams: “After all this time, I’m still into you.”
Okay, okay, I realize that’s cheesy. But let’s face it: During the 120 minutes allotted for Wednesday’s episode, it was hard not to be legitimately frustrated that this gem of a reality competition series so often flies under the radar, when even in its 11th season, performers are still earning three-judge standing O’s (and millions from viewers’ living rooms,...

I know it’s early into Season 11, but I’m not sure So You Think You Can Dance‘s effervescent Rudy can do any wrong.
Ok, maybe he should consider a 10 percent reduction in wide-eyed golly gee-ness when he gets positive feedback from the judges — it’s sometimes a fine line between wicked heartthrob and ventriloquist’s dummy — but you’ve got to admit he’s as loveable as a teacup chihuahua peeking out from a cashmere blanket (or a newborn kitten cradled in an endive leaf, if you’re not really into canines).

Spolier alert: I’m not going to complain about Nigel Lythgoe taketh-ing away So You Think You Can Dance‘s crucial “fight for your existence” solo round during tonight’s Top 20 performance episode (Part Deux).
Granted, I reserve the right to kvetch, moan and grumble about this questionable omission until at least the end of July, but for now, allow me to focus on the positive and give the executive producer props for giveth-ing us the greatest guest judge in So You Think You Can Dance‘s 11-season history: Misty Copeland.

You’re only as strong as your weakest samba roll — or so the old saying goes (kinda sorta).
And that’s why So You Think You Can Dance fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the show’s Season 11 Top 20 pairings.

After last week’s “Meet the Top 20″ telecast — in which every contestant was paired up with someone from the same style, and then given a routine in their own genre — tonight’s telecast (8/7c on Fox) will push the dancers outside their comfort zones.
