Born in Voghera in Italy 17 june 1987. Degree in Communication at Pavia
University. Studied filmmaking at School Sentieri Selvaggi in Roma.
Lives between Roma and Berlin. First short movie as director,
screenwriter and actor is Chiesa e Stato vol.1 - Potere spirituale in
2013. Then he has been
author of a very successful multimedia web project Umberto Baccolo's
(n)INFOmaniac composed by three
videos, 17 photos, 17 paintings from authors like Italian comic book
star Akab and a soundtrack. He has directed and written two video clips,
Transmutation, in which he's also actor
together with Lilith Primavera and Saretta Rosa, for Analogue Sensation
Modelling (german electronic duo composed by Konik Polny and Francesco
Zappalà) and Volevo essere la luna nei campi for Oliviero Malaspina, starring Carlo
Passamonti and Amodio Iezza, both in 2014 and with cinematography and
editing by Gabrielle Fiore. He's also a performer: in 2013 he reads in
Roma his novel La naissance de l'amour with electronic live music by
Event99 Banned Records. Now he's working on a short movie written with
Gino Roberti, Le sorelle K, and on his first feature film, Temporal
Power, written, directed, produced and starring him.
