Miranda Kay(I)
- Actress
Since I was a child, I loved playing and having fun pretending to be other
people, in this journey I found acting. When I was 9 years old, I entered the
CEA Infantil (Artistic Education Center of Televisa for Children) where I studied
acting for 2 years. Around 1,800 children audition every year and only about 50
students graduate.
At the age of 11, my enthusiasm in the classroom took me to set for the first
time, and I took part in the successful soap opera "Mi Corazon Es Tuyo" playing
"Briana". (2013-2014)
That same year I filmed the movie "While The Wolfs Away" playing the lead role
as
"Isabel". The movie was directed by Joseph Hemsani and produced by Abe
Rosenberg. When the movie was released in January 2017 I was nominated
twice as "Female Revelation" at "Premios CANACINE 2018" (national
cinematography camera) and "Diosas de Plata by PECIME" (cinematography
journalists of Mexico).
After that I was cast in several soap operas with series regular and recurring
roles.
In January 2019, at the age of 16, I entered the CEA Televisa (Artistic Education
Center of Televisa for Youth), one of the most prestigious acting programs in
Latin America. There I had a complete training in dancing, singing and acting.
While I studied, I played "Laura" in the movie "Karem, The Possession", directed
by Henry Bedwell. When the movie was released I got nominated as "Female
Revelation" at "Premios CANACINE 2023".
In 2021, I concluded my studies and graduated with honours from the CEA
Televisa.
Later that year I became part of the soap opera "Contigo Si" where I played
"Clarita", my first juvenile lead role.
During the summer of 2022, I moved to Toronto to pursue my acting career in
Canadian Film/Television.
