Lilith is an anthology film from Alexander T. Hwang (Prey in Cold Blood) revolves around various incarnations of the demon Lilith, portrayed by a different actress in each segment. In folklore, Lilith was actually the first wife of Adam. She was banished from Eden for refusing to be subservient to him and became a creature of the night in revenge.
Beginning with a showdown between Lilith Father Murphy and Detective Carson (Thomas Haley; The Crossing). The scenes between the film’s segments all involve these three. Father Murphy is a priest who’s losing his faith. Carson wants revenge on Lilith for reasons explained in the first segment.

Genre distributor Terror Films has teamed with Kings of Horror for the World Premiere of Hunter Johnson’s revenge thriller Serena Waits.
Written by Johnson, Serena Waits centers around Serena, who attends a college frat party. When an alcohol fueled hookup takes a violent and horrifying turn, Serena becomes the victim of a violent and deadly encounter with three college athletes. Soon after discarding Serena’s body, the guys find themselves haunted by her presence. Is it all in their heads or has Serena returned for revenge?
Produced by Johnson, Chudabala, Emily Dahm and Paul Davila – the cast also includes Lara Jean (Space), Emily Dahm (From Jennifer), Jennifer Clarke and Gregory Blair. I think we can now say it is officially the festive season. So this means that I will try to watch as many Christmas movies as humanly possible throughout December (and the end of November). Ugly Sweater Party comes under the banner of Christmas horror comedy, so it hasn’t got a whole lot of competition.
I have previously enjoyed director Aaron Mento’s work. Starting with the unique and entertaining Standards of Living and then moving on to the very clever series idea of Choose Their Kill (look it up and enjoy), so when I discovered he was the director of Ugly Sweater Party my expectations were a little higher.
