Birth right name: Teresa Ann Swygard; aka Terrie. Date of Birth: June 29, 1961, Robert B Green Hospital at 9:00am in San Antonio, Texas.
Terrie is half Greek & English. She has 3 half sister's and 1 half brother. Terrie's Mother re-married to C.S. Russell from Stockdale, Texas when Terrie was 3; a little country town where she grew up. Terrie went to school in Stockdale, Texas where she studied Science and Acting; but her favorite was acting. Terrie is related to Sam Elliott, David Elliott from the show JAG, Billy the kid and David Crockett.
At Floresville, Texas in 1974 when she was 13 years old, she tasted acting, and fell in love with the industry when she was in the movie "Sugarland Express" with Steven Spielberg. At that moment, Steven Spielberg wanted Terrie cast, and offered to get her a teacher. Terrie's parents said no; that she would have to finish school first. Terrie knew what she wanted to be and her step-father was her biggest fan. Mr. Russell told Terrie; "Anyone can do anything with their lives just as long as they put their mind to it; work hard and go out there and grab it because it's not coming to you, you will have to go out there and get it, You can do it Terrie... make me proud".
In 1983 Terrie married Allen Wann; they had 2 children; Billy Allen Wann and Lacy Dawn Wann-Hall, but they divorced in the year 1991. On December 1, 2000 Terrie lost who she thought was her real father Eugene O. Swygard, but recently found out he was not. On father's day in 2001 her step-father passed. On July 18th, 2017 Terrie also lost her Mother Joyce H. Pettit-Swygard-Russell from Stockdale, Texas.
We are now proud to announce Terrie has found her biological father's side of the family. Terrie is a Zervos not a Swygard. In the year 2002 she went back into acting. In 2005 she was cast in the Movie "The Ringer" with Barry Bisalisten as an extra. In 2005 she was in "The Room" with Ken as an Hittite extra, "Friday Night Lights" with Peter Berg as an extra, and in 2005 "Man Of The House" with Stephen Herek as an extra. Terrie has long aimed to further her acting career, so in 2005 she received her big break with "Independent Medieval" with Brian Etnyre as an Actress/Director.
She is now making a comeback in films, doing a great job and is an Actress/Producer/Director/Casting Director; working on her own movie "The Stranger Comes To Texas" with professional screenwriters. Previously, she was the Casting Director for "Suddenly Real" by Allan Hall, and also the Casting Director for "Surviving The Undead" by Todd Ernest Braley. Her goal is to someday move to LA, CA to produce more movies and act full-time. Ms. Swygard would also like to work with her personal heroes Dwight Yoakam, Sandra Bullock, Keanu Reeves, Johnny Depp, and again with Billy Bob Thornton and Tommy Lee Jones. -- January 21. 2018
