They’ve announced that in addition to the 35 participants (which you can check out from the official TerrorBytes website), an additional three personalities have been added: Denis Dyack, Sam Barlow, and Yoshiro Kimura.
For those who need a refresher, Denis Dyack is the director of the 2002 Lovecraftian GameCube horror title Eternal Darkness, along with being the director of the first entry in the Legacy of Kain series, 1996’s Blood Omen. Sam Barlow is the director of Immortality and Her Story (and currently working on two new projects), as well as a writer on Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Supermassive Games announced last year that they were working on their next game, and it turns out they’re teaming up with Behaviour Interactive for a new title from the world of Dead by Daylight in The Casting of Frank Stone. Set to arrive in 2024, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, the game will be using Dead by Daylight’s mythology and feature the story of brand-new characters.
“We’re always looking at ways to offer different experiences to the Dead by Daylight community,” states Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships at Behaviour Interactive. “Our players have been interested in a single-player narrative experience for quite some time, and we’re excited to expand the Dead by Daylight universe and explore new territory with Supermassive games, a studio that is at the forefront of modern video game storytelling.”

Two years after the Stranger Things Chapter for Dead by Daylight was sadly removed, and coming at the conclusion of this year’s Haunted by Daylight event, Behaviour Interactive has announced that it’s back! In celebration of Stranger Things Day, players can explore once again The Upside Down and get the full Stranger Things experience with the Demogorgon, Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington.
“We’re thrilled to renew this collaboration with Netflix, to bring back the Stranger Things Chapter, including the Underground Complex Map from the Hawkins National Laboratory, and the iconic Survivor duo composed of Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble,” says Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Behaviour Interactive. “We hope players who didn’t get to experience Stranger Things [in Dead by Daylight] will take full advantage of this gaming experience today.”

There have been a lot of strange gaming crossovers over the years. Freddy Krueger was in Mortal Kombat, Michael Myers in Call of Duty: Ghosts, and the Ninja Turtles in Street Fighter 6. But one crossover in particular had me turning my head in disbelief: Nicolas Cage in Dead By Daylight.
For the uninitiated, Dead By Daylight is an asymmetrical horror video game where 4 players take on the role of survivors who are trying to escape the map, and 1 player takes on the role of a killer who’s trying to sacrifice them on meathooks. It’s a simple premise that allows for a great amount of freedom for bringing in crossover characters and killers from franchises such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Scream. Previous crossovers have always been in the form of fictional characters, however, so it was a bit strange when it was announced that Nicolas Cage...

Over the years, Behaviour Interactive has collaborated with a number of horror franchises for Dead by Daylight and they announced today that Alien will officially be coming to the horror video game.
Dead by Daylight: Alien will introduce Ellen Ripley as the newest survivor alongside the Xenomorph as the latest killer. “Alien has been and continues to be one of the best sci-fi stories ever told – and to be able to collaborate with 20th Century Games on bringing this story into Dead by Daylight is a privilege for all of us at Behaviour Interactive,” said Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Behaviour Interactive.
The new map will be set against the eerie backdrop of the Nostromo wreckage with a few Dead by Daylight twists. The Xenomorph has an added advantage as it can enter and exit through tunnels underneath the map that only it can access. “Creating the Xenomorph’s...

We were told last week that Dead by Daylight would be getting a crossover with Alien, and as expected the Xenomorph is joining the asymmetrical multiplayer title as a new Killer. Joining the Xenomorph is Ellen Ripley as a new Survivor, with the Nostromo Wreckage as a new map!
Currently relegated to the Public Test Build on Steam, Dead by Daylight: Alien will be available on all platforms on August 29.

We’ve been waiting months for it, and today Nicolas Cage is finally in Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight! Or more accurately, Cage is now available in the Public Test Build on the Steam version of Dead by Daylight.
Playing a fictionalized version of himself, Nicolas Cage joins Dead by Daylight as a new Survivor. The story for just how Cage enters the fog is pure Nicolas Cage: on set filming “the role of a lifetime”, Cage’s performance summoned The Entity, a malevolent being of incomprehensible power. The actor soon finds himself cast in otherworldly Fog, forced to survive a host of terrifying Killers.
As expected, Cage arrives with his own unique Perks in the game. With Dramaturgy, players will allow their instincts to take over during moments of heightened intensity. They might not be able to predict the outcome, but that’s what makes it so thrilling,...

New Pretty Boy Poster and Photos: "Pretty Boy, the follow up to the award-winning film Blind, has completed principal photography. Pretty Boy, directed by Marcel Walz and written by Joe Knetter, continues the story they set in motion in Blind.
Pretty Boy just finished the Post Production with Company 3
Marcel Walz (Director)
“Filming Pretty Boy the way we did was a dream comes true for me. It is beautiful, fun, gory and creepy. Seeing our Killer, “Pretty Boy”, slashing through this love letter to the 80s is what I have always wanted to do! Also, as an LGBTQ Director, I could go crazy on set design for the Valentine’s party and overall theme in the movie, so be prepared for a lot of pinks, glitter and some intestines Lol!“
Joe Knetter (Writer)
“Filming Pretty Boy was an amazing experience. Every single person on the cast and crew brought their ‘A’ game.

For a game that sells itself on allowing players to control some of horror cinema’s most iconic characters, the continued absence of Jason Voorhees from Dead by Daylight is certainly a head-scratcher. This is the same asymmetrical multiplayer experience that’s managed to conscript the likes of Leatherface, Michael Myers and Freddy to have them revel in their favourite pastime of killing and maiming hapless teenagers, after all, so what gives?
There’s no definitive answer to that question, though the lack of representation for Friday the 13th certainly isn’t due to a lack of desire on developer Behaviour Interactive’s end. As per recent comments provided to ComicBook.com, in fact, Dead by Daylight director Mathieu Côté is quick to point out that the team would love nothing more than to welcome Camp Crystal Lake’s resident killer to become a part of the family, so to speak.

Pyramid Head is coming to Dead by Daylight. According to developer Behavior Interactive, the terrifying antagonist and media icon from the Silent Hill franchise will be available as a playable character in the game’s next Dlc.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the property, Dead by Daylight is an online horror-based survival game in which one player assumes the role of killer, and four others play the part of victim. The goal of the killer is to, well, kill the other players, while the victims must try to escape from their pursuer.
Although Dead by Daylight boasts a small variety of original characters, it’s the licensed ones to which the game owes its popularity. Through a series of Dlc, players can crawl into the skin of psychos and monsters home to a number of different titles, including Scream, Left For Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,...

Dark, frightening, competitive, theatrical: “Dead by Daylight” is the sort of game that now seems infinitely mutable. While it launched as an asymmetric survival title that pitted a group of mostly helpless would-be survivors against a hulking slasher, it evolved over the past two years to become something more akin to “Cabin in the Woods” than “Friday the 13th Part Whatever.”
Like most good thrillers, “Dead by Daylight’s” continued life came as a sort of twist evoked by the developer’s decision to expand the game and the way it plays by dropping in a murderer’s row of classic horror flick villains and eventually infamous killers from the best and biggest horror movies. With each new killer came a new challenge for the survivors, new frightening backdrops, new ways to be found, to be thrilled, to be killed.
