Veteran reporter Sarah Wallace, who won 13 Emmys and a Peabody over 30 years for Wabc in New York, claimed she was “fired for telling the truth” about a wrongful murder conviction. Former longtime local ABC reporter Sarah Wallace will sue her former station, according to the New York Post. Wallace reported for Wabc in New York for three decades before being forced out in February. The award-winning investigative journalist reportedly butted heads with News Director Camille Edwards, who has a reputation for being extremely tough. Reports suggest Wallace was forced out by Edwards because of her age, but some ABC insiders cited there are men older than Wallace still at the station with less trophies in their shelves.
