Tobias Menzies has become one of our most reliably excellent actors of late. Classically trained, he had an extensive theatre career in his native England during the noughties and early 2010s before he rose to prominence with roles in “Game of Thrones” and “Outlander.”
Menzies’ profile then increased further thanks to his lauded portrayal of Prince Phillip in “The Crown” and his stock has again risen thanks to his role as another major historical figure in Apple TV’s “Manhunt.” The acclaimed limited series follows the death of President Abraham Lincoln (played by Hamish Linklater) and the subsequent 12-day manhunt for assassin John Wilkes Booth (Anthony Boyle).
Menzies stars as Edwin Stanton, the Secretary of State and personal friend of Lincoln who headed up the hunt for Booth. Menzies proves himself capable of carrying this compelling show entirely on his own. His complex, gruff portrayal of Stanton is what makes the series soar,...

Big change on Masterpiece’s popular drama Miss Scarlet and the Duke.
Stuart Martin, who played William “The Duke” Wellington in the previous four seasons, will not return for season 5. Kate Phillips will return as Miss Eliza Scarlet for a fifth season of investigations, and the series will be retitled Miss Scarlet.
“It has been such an incredible joy to bring Duke to life through Rachael’s beautiful, brilliant writing, and to get to play him for the past four years,” said Martin in a statement. “But it felt like the time was right for Scarlet to explore new stories and challenges for now, as the show continues to grow and evolve. I will miss working with my amazing partner in crime Kate and the rest of our brilliant family and team, but I’m excited to continue following Eliza and her escapades as a huge fan and newly enrolled Scarleteer!

We recently saw a teaser trailer for Daredevil Season 3 and I hope that we get a full trailer soon! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this next chapter of Matt Murdock’s journey!
The next chapter of the story is said to be inspired by Frank Miller's 1980 Born Again storyline from the comics. Charlie Cox will return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Vincent D’Onofrio will be back as Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin.

It sounds like Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is ready to fully embrace the devil within in the upcoming third season of Daredevil. Marvel has released the first teaser trailer for the new season. This was actually shown at the very end of Iron Fist Season 2, which is currently streaming on Netflix.
The is the first time we've seen Daredevil since The Defenders. He is sitting in a confessional booth at a church, he's bloodied up and wearing his old black Daredevil costume. As he talks to the priest we see that he's not doing very well and that he's succumbing to the darkness within. He's ready to fully embrace the devil. He says:
"I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness. The truth is... I'd rather die as the devil,...

I'm sure you all remember at the end of The Defenders when we see Matthew Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil all bandaged up in a convent hospital after an entire building fell on top of him. But do you remember one of the last lines that were spoken? "Get Maggie. Tell her he’s awake."
Well, Sister Maggie is going to make her way into Daredevil Season 3. Marvel has cast Joanne Whalley (Willow, Wolf Hall) in the role of the character. This upcoming season is looking to draw from the beloved 1980s Frank Miller 'Born Again' storyline from the comics.
Just in case some of you don't know who Sister Maggie is, she is the one who nurses Matt Murdock back to health. Oh, yeah... her name is Margeret Murdock and she’s also his mom! There's a very sad story of deep depression and paranoia behind her character and...
