Matt Mishak
- Camera and Electrical Department
Matt Mishak made his film debut after working with director, John Pogue, on designing a drone character for the movie Wake (2016), starring Bruce Willis and Sir Ben Kingsley. The drone successfully filmed its first scene with a resounding applause from cast and crew. Director Pogue was obviously pleased with the results. Unfortunately, amongst budgetary and scheduling concerns, the film stopped production in April of 2015. It is unknown as to whether the film will resume at any time.
Matt Mishak has been interested and involved with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) aka "drones" since 2008 and has a passion for all things UAS. As an attorney, his interests range from the robust and developing field of UAS law and policy to the design and manufacturing of UAS from the ground up. He is inspired by the incredible potential of UAS to revive the economy, especially within the "rust-belt" regions of the country. To this end, he enjoys teaching, helping to build a knowledgeable community around UAS - one of the most transformative new technologies of our lifetime.
