Zuzana Delcore

Zuzana Delcore was born in Slovakia and began playing and performing music at 6 years old. An accomplished cellist, Zuzka completed her studies and received her degree at J.L. Bella Conservatory in Banska Bystrica Slovakia in Cello Performance and Education where she regularly performed as a soloist as well as with string quartets and chamber groups. Many of the groups from the conservatory traveled to Austria, Italy, France, Germany and Ireland performing works of Baroque and Classical music during the period of the "Iron Curtain" in Eastern Europe.
In 2004, Zuzka moved to Boston, MA and began performing with The MIT Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of George Ogata. She has been performing with MITSPO for 10 years. In addition to her Classical experience, Zuzka has performed live and recorded with Czech Pop artists Dara Rollins (SONY Music) and Elan as well as Slovak artists Alan Mikusek, Robo Opatovky, Misha, and Robo Papp. Zuzka has also been the featured soloist in 2 Lifetime Movies 'Last Hours in Suburbia' released in 2012, 'Sexting in Suburbia' released in 2012, and the documentary film " Aside From That" released in 2015 as well as performing on a variety of commercial and corporate sessions in both the U.S. and in Europe.
