For those unfamiliar with Tubi, they are a completely free streaming service which has an absolutely ridiculous selection of films, many of which offered in high quality high-definition transfers. For those not in the know, they are also one of the services that pays filmmakers the best and are very open to smaller budget films. They do present the films with ads, but that is a small price to pay for a great selection of fun films. Scrolling their offerings by genre is also the closest one can get to the video store experience of yesteryears. Here’s a list of five fun action movies on Tubi, kind of like a “Staff Suggestions” section at your local Mom & Pop video store.

With John Wick: Chapter 4 exploding at the box office and Donnie Yen experience a new wave of popularity in North American, now’s the time to look at another of the movie’s stars who’s been around for a long time but is consistently underrated. Of course, that man is the great Scott Adkins! Those who know him, love him. With over 70 movies to his credit, the man has been in at least one thing everyone has seen, from Doctor Strange to X-Men Origins: Wolverine (as Weapon X), The Pink Panther, and so many more, He has been in something for everyone. For us, the highlights of his career are not necessarily the obvious titles when glancing at his resume.
Here are our some of our favorite Scott Adkins movies:
The Expendables 2 (2012)
Admittedly not as good as the first film, The Expendables 2 did bring a few good villains to the screen.

Not all comic-book movies have to be about superheroes or heroes at all for that matter. Case in point: Accident Man. Originally debuting in a series of comic strips in the 90s, Accident Man was created by Pat Mills and Tony Skinner – two legends of the UK comics scene. For those not familiar with the Mills and Skinner creation, Mike Fallon is a hitman, a stone-cold killer and the best at what he does. Yet he’s no ordinary hitman. Instead, Fallon has a very particular style of assassination: all of his jobs are completed by making it look like the target was killed simply by accident… Hence the name Accident Man.

Fans of action, rejoice! The amazing martial arts star Scott Adkins has a new movie that was released this past week! Adkins has starred as Boyka in the sequels to the 2002 prison boxing movie, Undisputed, which had transitioned into an incredible series of martial arts films, and Adkins himself won awards from the Jackie Chan Action Awards for Best Fight and Best Actor for the most recent entry, Boyka: Undisputed. And if Jackie Chan feels he’s earned that award, you know it’s some amazing stuff! You can also see him in films like Ninja, Ninja II: Shadow of the Tear, Doctor Strange, The Brothers Grimsby, Zero Dark Thirty, The Expendables 2, he had a cameo in Netflix’s Day Shift, and he’ll be in the upcoming John Wick 4.

Growing up action movies were, for me, second only to horror flicks as my go to genre. I used to scour the pages of Impact for news on the latest films and then pre-order the VHS at my local video shop – because yes, back in the day you could actually pre-order a video rental and I Always had to be first to rent my most-anticipated flicks! I mention this only because it was back in that era that the action movie star was king. Starting out with the likes of Stallone and Schwarzenegger, the VHS era gave birth to a myriad of action movie superstars: guys like Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Jeff Speakman, Jeff Wincott and the queen of action films Cynthia Rothrock… all of whom carved out careers in what were – for the most part – direct to video films.

Well sh*t… Scott Adkins just had to go and step it up a notch with this very Brutal, very British, hugely funny and fairly orginal Brit crime drama. Boasting a superb leading man performance from Adkins and a delightful supporting cast of top Brit talent.
So I saw the trailer, then I read the synopsis, I looked into the cast list and instanly thought ‘Well I know how this is going to go’. However I do love a lot of the cast involved in the flick and I am known to enjoy a good Brit crime thriller. Add to this Adkins has never failed to deliver when it comes to punch-y,...

Samuel Goldwyn Films has acquired U.S. rights to Avengement, an action thriller starring Doctor Strange’s Scott Adkins. Jesse V. Johnson directed the pic from a screenplay he co-wrote with Stu Small. A day-and-date theatrical/digital release is set for May 24.
The film, which marks the sixth teaming Adkins and Johnson, centers on a lowly criminal named Cain Burgess (Adkins) who, while being released on furlough from prison, evades his guards and returns to his old haunts to take revenge on the people that made him a cold-hearted killer. It’s an epic, bloody battle to search for the soul he lost years ago on the streets of an unforgiving city.
Nick Moran, Thomas Turgoose, Kierston Wareing and Louis Mandylor co-star.
Ehud Bleiberg and Joe Karimi-Nik are producers, and Nicholas Donnermeyer and Adkins are executive producers on the pic that hails from Bleiberg Entertainment, which produced it via its...

As you’re no doubt well aware, comic book movies are all the rage these days. While we still get the odd dud, the genre continues going from strength to strength and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is at the forefront of that right now.
However, while we all know who characters like Captain America, Spider-Man, and The Hulk are from our childhoods, there are a lot of comic books out there you probably haven’t heard of. The question is, do you know which of your favourites movies are based on them?

The past few weeks have been brewing something under the radar in a modest effort to surprise action fans before several details about Jesse V. Johnson's latest film, Accident Man, were leaked online via IMDb. At this point it pretty much makes the best sense to report it all know and thus, the latest trade news via Deadline confirms most of the suspected cast along with a few surprises as follows. And indeed, it is the man himself, Marvel's Doctor Strange co-star Scott Adkins who took to his Facebook fanpage earlier on to tease the project as a lifelong passion inspired by one of his favorite comic book characters in which he has since been confirmed to star. Stu Small is penning the film, based...
