The judge who oversaw Danny Masterson’s rape conviction is demanding answers regarding what happened to nine firearms the “That ’70s Show” actor was supposed to surrender.
Masterson was convicted in May of raping two women and sentenced to 30 years to life in prison. Long before his trials began, Judge Charlaine Olmedo ordered him to relinquish his collection of 10 guns – but are still unaccounted-for.
Masterson’s lawyer told a judge Monday morning that one gun was destroyed years ago, while the whereabouts of the others are uncertain, legal affairs reporter Meghann Cuniff reported. The former Law and Crime and Orange County Register reporter tweeted news and quotes from court, where Kate Mangels was representing the actor.
“I can represent that they’re not in his possession, custody or control and have not been since prior to the 2020 order,” Mangels said. “In 2020, Mr. Masterson surrendered all firearms in his possession to...

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has been ordered to serve 120 days of home detention after making threats against the rapper Offset.
Petty was previously sentenced to three years probation in July 2022 after pleading guilty for failing to register as a sex offender in California in 2020. In 1995, Petty was convicted of first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl and was sentenced to four years in prison in New York.
On Wednesday, the Central District of California determined that Petty violated the terms of his probation after appearing in a viral video in which he made threats against the former Migos rapper. In the video, Petty and several other men are seen standing outside of a New York City hotel, where they believe Offset is staying. “Plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral pussy!” Petty is heard saying.
Ironically, Offset was not actually at the hotel at the time of the threat.

Tory Lanez has been sentenced to 10 years in prison in his felony assault trial for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. On Tuesday, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge David Herriford handed down the sentence seven months after Lanez was convicted on three counts at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.
The rapper’s sentencing is 3 years less than the 13 years prosecutors recommended Lanez be sentenced back in June. His attorneys asked that the 31-year-old be sentenced to probation or three years in prison, acknowledging that, legally, Lanez is presumed ineligible for probation, but said his case is so unusual it should warrant an exception.
Lanez has 60 days to file his notice of appeal.
The rapper — born Daystar Peterson — has been in jail since Dec. 23, 2022, when a jury convicted him of first-degree assault, discharge of a firearm with gross negligence and having a concealed and unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He maintains his innocence.

Ahead of Tory Lanez’s sentencing on August 7, the rapper’s lawyers filed a court memo Wednesday requesting that he be sentenced to probation and a stay in a drug treatment facility instead of prison after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Prosecutors had previously requested that the judge sentence Lanez — real name Daystar Peterson — to 13 years in prison, but the rapper’s defense argued in a 41-page memo that Lanez should instead be sent to rehab, citing his alcohol addiction and severe childhood trauma, Legal Affairs and Trials’ Meghann Cuniff reported.
