The champion will be crowned by judges Neil Patrick Harris, drag superstar Bianca Del Rio, and Haneefah Wood. Murray Hill will host.
Each episode will have its own theme, as revealed by show producer David Burtka. Teams will focus on multiple criteria: food & drink, design & decor, and entertainment & overall vibe.
Participating queens are Alaska, Alexis Mateo, BeBe Zahara Benet, BenDeLaCreme, Biqtch Puddin’, Chelsea Piers, Darienne Lake, Detox, Gigi Goode, Ginger Minj, Heidi N Closet, Heklina, Jackie Beat,...

RuPaul‘s Drag Race is now in its 15th season, and it’s more popular than ever. But just like with any other reality TV show, eventually, some of the show’s secrets are bound to be revealed. For example, in the earlier seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race, future losers learned they were about to be eliminated from the race in a rather abrupt way.

So… how does the show work, exactly? For those not familiar, RuPaul’s Drag Race features a series of drag performers, all of which are selected by host RuPaul and the production team to compete. The chosen pool of performers competes in each episode, performing a series of challenges.

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Bianca Del Rio recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 15 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s fourteenth episode, season 3 winner, former “Pit Stop” host, and All Stars 7 consolation winner Raja stops by to “cut up” just before the “Grand Finale” in two weeks. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of episode 14, Raja and Bianca agree that Anetra is a threat to Sasha Colby‘s chance at winning. Raja goes as far to say that Anetra is Sasha’s “only threat.” Despite seeing them as the only ones with a chance to win, Raja says that they are a great final four because they’re “very all powerful in their own way” because of their abilities and stories. Sprinkled throughout the episode, Bianca gets Raja to share some of her memories...

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Bianca Del Rio recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 15 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s thirteenth episode, Naomi Smalls returns to the recap show as a two-time makeover challenge winner herself. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of episode 13, both Naomi and Bianca say that they expected one of the twins to make the top five instead of the five that actually made it to this episode. Naomi said that Sugar is great at comedic timing, but Spice is more polished in her looks and so either could have been the one to make it this far. Like other queens before her, Naomi also took offense to queens like Luxx Noir London and Loosey Laduca being so pressed about their placements, especially Loosey trying to count mini challenge wins in her record.

When season 15 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” premieres on MTV on January 6 it will introduce the world to 16 all new queens, the largest starting cast in the series to date. The queens will be competing for the show’s biggest purse in herstory as well–a whopping 200,000 prize will go to the winner.
Over the next few weeks we can expect more tea and features to come out about the new season, like the announcement from Wednesday that pop megastar Ariana Grande will be returning as a guest judge for the first episode! Ariana made her Drag Race debut back in the season 7 episode 6 “Ru Hollywood Stories,” a day she told RuPaul Charles was “the best day of my life. I’m not lying.”

RuPaul and the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” judges raised more than 250,000 for Extraordinary Families on Thursday night at an event in Hancock Park.
Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews, Carson Kressley and Jeffrey Bower Chapman co-hosted the celebration for the adoption and foster agency that works with LGBTQ+ parents and kids.
World of Wonder co-founder, Drag Race producer and co-host for the night Fenton Bailey announced 250,00 and counting had been donated.
Extraordinary Families CEO Barnaby Murff thanked Bailey, who is also on the organization’s board and has two adopted children with his filmmaker husband Billy Luther.
Murff noted that L.A County has the biggest child welfare system in the country with over 20,000 kids not in their original homes: “Support like this makes it possible for them to be safe and loved.”

Last night, our favorite reality not-so-guilty pleasure wrapped up it's eighth season. RuPaul's Drag Race definitely came back strong this season after the underwhelming seventh stumbled. This crop of queens was among the most talented and dynamic, resulting in the show's best top three ever. Whether the eventual winner would be the boisterous Bob the Drag Queen, the heartwarming and inventive Kim Chi, or the glamazon Naomi Smalls, we the adoring audience could hardly complain.
After each of them performed fun lipsyncs to original tracks (available on iTunes *wink*), their individual interviews provided the night's best entertainment: Bob got a video message from Carol Channing praising her Snatch Game win to Bob's aghast tears; Kim dished on her relationship with her mother (who still has no knowledge of Kim's success) and delivered the night's best read aimed at the Pit Crew; Naomi gushed about the approval from her idol Naomi Campbell...

Which team are you on for RuPaul's Drag Race's finale next week? I'm so curious because for the first time I'd be happy with nearly any outcome. I suspect Kim Chi will take the crown as Bob or Naomi might too closely recall the last two winners under Clown and Fashion wings of drag respectively, and Kim Chi is a new direction.
It's always strange during the season when they take that week off before the finale. Monday rolls around and... no queens. [Scene from Nathaniel's House: "Life is empty," he cried dramatically while turning off the TV last night. And... scene.] Though Season 8 started strong and only crashed in the middle with the Snatch Game before returning to glory, we're left with (gasp) the strongest top three ever. If you'll allow a little "it's all about Me" moment, this is the only time in Drag Race herstory where my three favorite contestants all made the finals. That's like having, I don't know, your two favorite films of...
