Mumbai, Nov 22 (Ians) Sacred Games actress Rajshri Deshpande has bagged a project with actor Jimmy Sheirgill, whom she finds extremely gifted.
The untitled film is being helmed by Dnyanesh Zoting, and will release on an Ott platform.
"This is an extremely intriguing project. It's really fun working with the extremely gifted Jimmy Sheirgill. I feel elated to be working on this and also to be able to deliver quality content to the audience. Really can't wait for my fans to watch me in this one," she said.
Earlier, Rajshri had posted a photo with Jimmy on Instagram informing her fans about the film.

2017 was kind of a light year for genre films in India. There were a few stand out productions, but the general mood in the country was pretty tense, and that seemed to lend itself more toward either dramas or broad comedies. 2018, on the other hand, is looking up with a pretty impressive number of horror/action/fantasy films on the way. Producer Vivek Kajaria (Fandry) has launched a film sales and representation agency, Basil Content, which aims to connect filmmakers and producers with distribution and film festivals in India and overseas.
The company is co-founded by Sanjay Ram, a former festival programmer and production executive, and has also appointed former Osian’s Cinefan programmer Rajat Goswami as director of acquisitions.
Titles on the company’s debut slate include Pulkit’s Maroon [pictured], Ananya Kasravallis’ Chronicles Of Hari, Samit Kakad’s Half-Ticket, Brahmanand S Siingh’s documentary Kaagaz Ki Kashti and Dnyanesh Zoting’s Raakshas, which was produced by Kajaria.
Described by the founders as a new style international sales agency, Basil Content is involved in festival strategy, PR, marketing and consultation, in addition to sales. It has also tied up with digital aggregator FilmKaravan to strengthen digital distribution of its slate.
