Mave is an American record producer. This Chicagoland native began his musical journey more than 15 years ago. Since then nothing could pull Mave from the freedom of creation. Ever since he was a child, Mave has always been intrigued by music and its impact on emotion. Mave has carried that forward to his inspiration today in both film and album music. His niche for music comes from a musical family background. His father; a successful music producer, his uncle; a successful blues singer, his cousin; a successful R&B singer, all inspired Mave to put his talented ear to the challenge. Mave gained the attention of major players in the music industry in 2006 but it wasn't until 2008 that he landed his first placement, a Syl Johnson remake; Is It Because Im Black, performed by Syleena Johnson on her Chapter IV: Labor Pains album. The song caught the ear of multi-platinum producer Toxic. After signing to Toxic Productions Mave would quickly become Toxic's "secret weapon". Over a span of a few years, Toxic Productions would open the door for Mave to take his music to another level where he would work with many industry movers and shakers. Mave's production work inspired the song "Tired of Doing Me" ft. Tank; which was placed on Keyshia Cole's 4th album Calling All Hearts. His work on Syleena Johnson's Chapter V: Underrated caught the ear of R&B Diva Faith Evans. "Stone Wall" is one of three songs produced by Mave on Chapter V, it was featured on R&B Divas Atlanta (seasons 1 & 2). It was also featured on the Grammy nominated compilation album Faith Evans presents: R&B Divas. Mave continued to tackle the music and film industry with his own production entity; MaveMuzik. Mave's bold, exotic, and hard hitting sound is what he continues to be known for.
