Matt Ferro it is recognized for is hard work and dedication in the cinematographic industry thanks to the paradise lost film which was his first opportunity to work as a production assistant.
Matt Ferro was born as David Rodriguez Ferro on October 26, 1986 in Padova, Italy, son of Publio Rodriguez and Architect Rosalina Ferro Franceschi. Matt's parents are Panamenian, but her mother is Italian descent. Matt is the older brother of 5, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, and due to their parents' divorce, her mother decided to move back to Panamá with her 6 children when Matt was just 12 years old. Matt has always been fascinated with cinematography since he was 6 years old, leading Matt to study Social Communication with emphasis on radio and television production in the Interamericana University of Panamá. In 2013 David made his debut in a cinematographic production in the film Paradise Lost as assistant production, where I had the pleasure of meeting actors Josh Hutchinson, Brady Corbet, Carlos Barden and Academy Award Winner Benicio Del Toro, and for Matt was one of the most incredible experiences of his life because I had the opportunity of working in the world that always loved. He is currently consolidating more experience in independent productions, in order to achieve direct a film of great magnitude.
In 2016 Matt had the opportunity of directing, writing and producing his first horror short film with Fabiola Candido who co-directed, wrote and also produced, the short film called La Sombra en la Oscuridad (The Shadow in the Dark) starring Leo Wiznitzer, is an achievement Which Matt was able to achieve as an independent cinematographer with the support of Chaly Barcenas, Marcela Bejarano, Guillermo Barcenas and Luis Pacheco.
