Dr. John H. Liu is an American film producer, executive producer, show creator, showrunner, writer, and director hailing from Hollywood. He is renowned for his work in feature films and for his creative and producing roles in original dramatic TV series and feature films such as "Power and Fire," "Gold Mountain," "Empress of the Ocean," "Grand Voyages to the West," "Legend of the HAN Empire," "Six Days," "Last Honor," and "The Gods of War."
He is the founder of HAN Pictures, a company established in both the USA and China. With a background in hedge fund trading, he has worked at esteemed Wall Street financial institutions since 1996, including Citigroup, Credit Suisse Bank, Nomura Securities, Rubicon Capital, and SAC Capital. Dr. Liu is also the visionary behind HAN Capital, a global hedge fund and asset management firm.
