When the character Riri Williams (played by Dominique Thorne) made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut back in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the idea was that we’d be seeing the character again the following year in her own Disney+ show Ironheart… but 2023 came and went without Ironheart, and the show still doesn’t have an official premiere date. This has caused some fans to speculate that Marvel and Disney+ might have decided to scrap Ironheart, along with the series Wonder Man, which had Yahya Abdul-Mateen II taking on the role of the title character, who is also known as Simon Williams and hasn’t been seen in the MCU yet. But no, Ironheart and Wonder Man are not being scrapped, and in a new interview with Agents of Fandom, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation Brad Winderbaum described the shows as spectacular, amazing, and different.

There has been a lot of fan speculation about Marvel Comics’ extra-dimensional demon character Mephisto showing up in a Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Many fans were sure Mephisto’s demonic mug was going to show up in WandaVision at some point… but that didn’t happen, so fans started wondering if he’ll be in the WandaVision spin-off Agatha: Coven of Chaos. It remains to be seen if that’s going to happen, but it sounds like we will see Mephisto in the Ironheart series. And it’s RUMORed that while we’ll primarily be seeing Mephisto in human form, there will be “glimpses” of his true demonic form.
Insider @CanWeGetToast claims (as reported by SuperHeroHype), “Mephisto will mostly be seen in his human form in Ironheart, while only giving Glimpses of his true form. Mephisto has The Hood stealing tech for him to build an advanced Bio-Suit in Ironheart.

This article contains spoilers for Xo, Kitty.
Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) was a fan favourite in the To All The Boys I Loved Before series as her matchmaking skills set up the still ongoing romance between her sister Lara-Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). The new spin-off series Xo, Kitty sees the teenager attempt to find her own romantic happy ending when she travels to Korea to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) who attends the Korean International School of Seoul, or Kiss for short. Kitty also attends the school to feel closer to her late mother, who also attended Kiss when she was Kitty’s age.
In 10 episodes, the love-filled journey Kitty thought she was getting is not as straightforward as she expected. Taking inspiration from K-Dramas, the first episode sees Dae and Kitty break up as he’s in a new, fake relationship with Yuri.

Kitty (Anna Cathcart) finally gets her chance to shine in the trailer for “Xo, Kitty,” a new spin-off series that expands the world of “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” which was explored in the three film adaptations released on Netflix.
“I know when two people are meant for each other,” Cathcart says as an intro to her powerpoint presentation about why she should go to the Korea Independent School of Seoul. “I felt it for Lara Jean and Peter and I feel it for me and Dae.”
In the final film of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy, based on the books by Jenny Han, Kitty met Dae (Minyeong Choi) in New York while Lara Jean was visiting colleges. Now, she’s convinced that she has met her match, so she applied to Kiss because Dae goes there now. She gets in on scholarship, and the adventure begins.

Veteran Canadian-American voice actress Cree Summer has joined the cast of Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart, sources tell Deadline. A rep for Marvel declined comment.
As Deadline reported earlier this month, Sacha Baron Cohen also has been tipped for a role in the series. Since our story ran, there has been further proof that Baron Cohen has joined the MCU, something Marvel and his reps have refused to comment on. I hear he may appear later in Ironheart’s run, with Episodes 5-6 considered likely. In addition to in-person scenes, rumor is that there have been scans for CGI effects, which would indicate a superhero alter ego for Baron Cohen’s character. He is believed to be playing a comic book villain, probably Mephisto.
The six-episode Ironheart, created by Chinaka Hodge, stars Dominique Thorne as Marvel character Riri Williams, a genius inventor and creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.

According to Deadline, Calderón has joined the six-episode series in an undisclosed role. He will star alongside Dominique Thorne, who is set to portray the Marvel character Riri Williams (aka Ironheart), a genius inventor who creates a suit of armor that rivals the armor of Tony Stark (aka Iron Man). In addition to Calderón and Thorne, the cast includes Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Shakira Barrera, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola, Shea Couleé, and Zoe Terakes. Marvel fans have been theorizing about the arrival of Mephisto in the MCU for some time, particularly in the WandaVision series. That didn’t come to pass, but it feels like fans have been picking up Mephisto teases ever since. The latest rumour making the rounds is that Sacha Baron Cohen is reportedly in talks to play Mephisto, with the villain apparently making his first appearance in the upcoming Ironheart series.
According to Deadline, sources have confirmed to them that there has been talk of Sacha Baron Cohen joining the cast of Ironheart, likely as Mephisto, but Marvel representatives refused to comment. Whether Sacha Baron Cohen takes on the role of Mephisto or not, I have little doubt that the character will appear one day. Of course, it would be the ultimate Marvel troll if they just continued to tease Mephisto for years to come. It’s expected that Mephisto...

Speculation has been growing that Sacha Baron Cohen has entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a role in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart as a comic book villain.
A source close to the production confirmed to Deadline that there has been talk on the set about Cohen being part of Ironheart, possibly playing Mephisto. Reps for Marvel and Cohen have refused to comment on any Cohen involvement in Ironheart or the larger MCU.
Like with any major Marvel characters, word is that Cohen would appear in other projects. If the Mephisto alter ego is confirmed, that could include the upcoming WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos as Mephisto had a presence (but was never shown) on the praised mothership series starring Elizabeth Olsen.
Word of Cohen’s potential Marvel involvement started spreading on social media this past weekend when multiple comic-focused Twitter accounts reported on the rumor of Cohen’s casting as a villain,...
