Daniel Arcana

Daniel is a producer, writer and creative strategist. Most recently he originator and co-producer THE JANES, an HBO Original Documentary, which premiered at the Sundance Festival in 2022, was featured in both the NYT and the New Yorker, and garnered an interview on Democracy Now. He is currently co-producing a multi-part documentary series about the Seattle rock music scene of the mid 80's - mid 90's. Previously, Daniel was a consulting producer on TNT's AMERICAN RACE documentary series featuring Charles Barkley, the Netflix documentary Series AFFLICTED and a strategic consultant on the feature film #UNFIT, The Dangerous Mind of Donald Trump.
Before shifting his focus to entertainment development, Daniel was the co-founder and former President of EXOPOLIS, an award-winning marketing & design agency in Los Angeles. During its ten year run, (2000 - 2010) EXOPOLIS concepted, designed and produced work for clients such as A&E, Nat Geo, HBO, TCM, IFC, Sundance, Universal Pictures, Disney, Warner Bros, Sony, Dreamworks, Nike, Coca-Cola, Xbox and Delta Airlines. Most notably, EXOPOLIS partnered with Nickelodeon to create and launch their channel Nicktoons, and worked closely with Apple on both the iPod "colors" campaign and the launch campaign / in-store / online experience of the original iPhone.
