Exclusive: Apple’s music dramedy series Little Voice, from J.J. Abrams and the Waitress duo of Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson, has set its cast.
In the main roles are emerging actors Brittany O’Grady (Star), Shalini Bathina (Undergrad), Sean Teale (The Gifted) and Colton Ryan (Homeland). Also among cast are Samrat Chakrabarti, Gopal Divan, Sakina Jaffrey and Emma Hong.
The half-hour romantic dramedy was last year given a straight-to-series 10-episode order, which will feature original music by Grammy and Tony Award nominee Bareilles. The show is currently shooting in New York.
Described as a love letter to the diverse musicality of New York, Little Voice, which shares the title of Bareilles’ breakthrough album, will explore the journey of finding your voice in your early 20s. It is described as a fresh, intensely romantic tale of the search to find your true voice… and then the courage to use it.

Iggy had one of his most fascinating cases to date, and finally, New Amsterdam Season 2 Episode 5 gave us more than one Helen and Max scene.
It was a bold hour that tackled something controversial with the exploration of a child psychopath.
It was the case that held one's attention the most during the hour, that's for sure.
First, Emma Hong is the young girl who played Juliette Kimura, and she's an exceptional talent. She was beyond sinister and creepy, and her performance was quite nuanced, given the subject matter.
She was chilling.

The case itself was disturbing on multiple levels, and it may include how they handled and wrapped it up by the hour's end.
You cannot diagnose a child with psychopathy or Anti-social personality disorder. It doesn't matter if they exhibit concerning signs, there's no official diagnosis of it until they're at least 18 years old.
