Jeff Petterson(II)
Jeff Petterson is an experienced marketing, communications, and public relations manager. He has a long history in broadcast management including a role as a Regional Senior VP of Programming for iHeartMedia from 2019 - 2023 where he managed staff, operations, marketing, promotions, and the brand strategy for more than 40 broadcast stations in 11 markets across 4 states including: St. Louis and Springfield, MO, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Davenport, IA, Bismarck and Grand Forks, ND, and others. He was also an on-air radio talent and radio program director in Little Rock, AR from 2005-2019 for KDJE where he produced 8 8 rock festivals called Edgefest. He first received recognition as part of the programming team and on-air staff at the Lawrence, KS based radio station KLZR from 1993 - 1999. Rolling Stone magazine once cited this legendary alternative station as "one of the top 10 stations in America that doesn't suck." KLZR and its format change in 1999 is the subject of the film Corporate FM which features interviews and a profile of Jeff Petterson. He also owned and operated Lawrence, KS based Noisome Records from 1995 - 2006 and released albums by artists from the Kanas local music scene including: Ultimate Fakebook, The Bubble Boys, Podstar, Ruskabank, The Creature Comforts, and Primetime Heroes. Following the format change at KLZR, Petterson accepted a job at crosstown classic rocker KDVV Topeka where he was program director and afternoon host from 1999 - 2005.
