Despite being a coach on all 13 seasons of “The Voice” to date, Adam Levine has only won three times. The most recent of these was in season 9 when he took Jordan Smith to the winner’s circle (his others wins were in season 1 with Javier Colon and season 5 with Tessanne Chin). This season, he was only able to choose one of the three artists to take to the Top 12, which will perform live on April 23.
After America voted for Sharane Calister and Rayshun Lamarr he had to pick his third artist from the four remaining on his team. In the end, he opted for Jackie Verna over Mia Boostrom, Drew Cole and Reid Umstattd.

As a coach on season 14 of “The Voice,” Adam Levine has struggled to put together a team that could finally win him a fourth title. However, with the decision to let America choose two of the three artists that he would take to the Top 12, his life was made a little easier. After Sharane Calister and Rayshun Lamarr won the two public votes, Levine had to choose between his four remaining artists. In the end, he opted for Jackie Verna over Mia Boostrom, Drew Cole and Reid Umstattd.

Although Adam Levine has been a coach on the “The Voice” since it started in 2011, he has won only three of the previous 13 seasons. And, according to our readers, a fourth win is likely to elude Levine in the current season 14.
They think that he has a far weaker team than Shelton, returning coach Alicia Keys and rookie Kelly Clarkson heading into the live round, which kicks off on April 16. Levine’s six artists earned only a combined 10 chair turns during the blind auditions. Compare that to the rosters of the other coaches: Keys (17 turns), Shelton (15 turns) and Clarkson (11 turns).
We have compiled a power ranking of the contestants now on Team Adam Levine. These would-be winners are listed from best to worst based on: their reception in the knockouts, battles and blind auditions; the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes; and the votes of viewers like you.

Adam Levine has the weakest team among the four coaches on season 14 of “The Voice” as the live round kicks off on April 16. He had gone into the knockout round, which just ended with eight artists who had merited a mere 13 chair turns among them at the blind auditions. Over the course of the three knockout episodes, Levine had to winnow them down to five picks. He also picked up a steal from another coach when that artist lost their battle.

Alicia Keys heads into the knockout round on season 14 of “The Voice” with the strongest team of the four coaches. That is not surprising given that she also had the best team before the battles began as her 12 artists had a whopping 29 chair turns during the blind auditions. At the end of the battle round, she had cut that roster in half and added two steals.
These eight artists merited 22 chair turns between them. Compare that to the rosters of the other coaches: six-time champ Blake Shelton (19 turns); rookie Kelly Clarkson (17 turns) and three-time winner Adam Levine (13 turns).
Keys pitted up her original 12 artists against each other in six battles. The winners of these — Johnny Bliss, Britton Buchanan, Sharane Callister, Terrence Cunningham, Christiana Danielle and Kelsea Johnson — move on to the knockout round. She used one steal to throw Miya Bass a lifeline after Adam Levine opted to keep Drew Cole...

They think that he and Shelton have far weaker teams than returning coach Alicia Keys and rookie Kelly Clarkson heading into the knockout round, which kicks off on April 2.
Levine’s eight artists earned a combined 13 chair turns during the blind auditions. He chose six of these during the blind auditions while the other two were steals from coaches who went with the competing artists in the battle round.

Third time is proving to be the charm for Alicia Keys as a coach on “The Voice.” Our readers say she has put together a far stronger team than the other three mentors (rookie Kelly Clarkson and veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton). She was spoiled for choice as the 12 artists that she brought into the battle round earned a whopping 29 chair turns during the blind auditions.
Keys could take only six of these contestants on to the knockout round, which kicks off on April 2. She also picked up two artists from other coaches after they lost their respective battles. “The Voice” aired the third of the four episodes devoted to the battle round on Monday (March 26). At this stage of the competition, the four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — must pit pairs of their artists against each other in sing-offs. After they chose one from each pairing to move on to the knockout round, the other was up for grabs with each coach having two such steals.

Going into the second and final week of The Voice’s Season 14 Battles, we still had ahead of us performances by a bunch of our favorites — and high hopes that they wouldn’t end up getting montaged, as was Johnny Bliss. (Fingers crossed!) Based on their memorable Blind Auditions, I was particularly eager to hear Jaclyn Lovey and Pryor Baird again, to find out (a) if they were good or consistently good and (b) how they’d fare in a cage match with another singer. Aand… ? Read on. We’ll discuss.
