Despite only launching Wednesday morning, the Kickstarter for a documentary about writer Joan Didion (set to be co-directed by Griffin Dunne, her nephew) has already been fully funded. At time of writing, the documentary has raised close to $100,000, surpassing its $80,000 goal Thursday morning, Kickstarter confirmed. On the page, the documentary's team explained that they decided to use Kickstarter "to reach as many people as possible." They wrote: "No gift is too small.
