J.Lo's Mom Wins $2.4 Million on Slot Machine
Jennifer Lopez mom Guadalupe has won a staggering $2.4 million on a Wheel of Fortune gambling machine in an Atlantic City, New Jersey, casino. Lopez scooped the prize from just a $3 stake at the city's Borgato Casino. In a press release, issued by the slot machine owners, Guadalupe, 58, says, "It was divine intervention. I have a great devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and had just looked up at the $2 million and said a little prayer to her when I hit the jackpot. Our Lady really looks out for me. When I won, my knees started shaking and I started yelling and screaming." Lopez, whose daughter has a multi-million dollar fortune, was handed a check for $121,000 - the remaining $2,421,291.76 million will be paid in installments over the next 19 years. Guadalupe is reportedly a longtime gambling fan - she accompanied J.Lo and her former fiance Ben Affleck on poker playing trips to Las Vegas, Nevada, and allegedly persuaded her daughter to give Affleck a second chance when the actress feared his gambling was wrecking their relationship.
Love's Legal Woes Pile Up
Courtney Love will face a full trial on charges of disorderly conduct and being under the influence of a controlled substance after a California judge rejected a motion to suppress evidence in the case. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg upheld prosecutors' motion to include what they called "vital" evidence in the case on Monday. Without the evidence, including statements and urine samples, prosecution spokesman Jerry Baik admits, "It would have killed our case." Love will now stand trial as scheduled on April 19. The 39-year-old rock star was arrested last October outside the home of an ex-boyfriend. She told police she'd broken some windows. Arresting officer Andre Howell has testified he thought Love might be under the influence due to her slurred speech, and called for an officer specially trained in recognizing drug use. Love's attorney Michael Rosenstein argued that police officers had no reason to investigate his client for drug use, and, although the former Hole star admitted taking painkiller OxyContin, police didn't know she was taking it without a prescription at the scene. Meanwhile, Love also faces two felony counts of drug possession for allegedly illegally possessing the painkillers hydrocodone and oxycodone in Beverly Hills Superior Court, and misdemeanor reckless endangerment and third- degree assault charges for allegedly throwing a microphone stand at a fan during a New York concert last month.
Paris Pays Up

Socialite Paris Hilton has finally settled her legal spat with New York jewelers Kwiat Inc after losing a $159,500 bracelet they loaned her for the 2003 Oscars. Simple Life star Hilton maintained the bracelet was faulty and kept falling off her wrist, so she put it in the glove compartment of a friend's car. The lockbox was later broken open and the jewelry taken. Kwiat bosses refused to back down and filed a lawsuit against Hilton for the return of the bracelet. But the socialite has now settled with the company out of court.
'Friends' Star Fights Back the Tears
Friends star Matthew Perry was so overcome with emotion after filming the final episode of the hit TV comedy he was close to breaking down in tears. The actor - who plays Chandler Bing - struggled to keep the tears at bay as he walked one final time onto the set with girlfriend Rachel Dunn. Perry says, "I didn't cry, but I felt like I was about to for like seven years. There was a sweet moment where my girlfriend and I went for a walk on the stage. That's something we just have to deal with." While Jennifer Aniston has managed to carve out a successful big screen career with Along Comes Polly, Perry concedes the show has been the pinnacle of all their working lives. Perry comments, "None of us will probably be involved with anything as successful as Friends again. That's something we have to deal with. We can have big successful movies, but nothing will ever be that first time again, and nothing will likely span that long a period of time. So we look back, and kind of smile, and move on."
Cruise and Cruz Back Together?

Separated Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz have both been spotted in Berlin, Germany - sparking rumors they've rekindled their romance. Cruise, 41, is scouting locations around the capital city for upcoming sequel Mission: Impossible 3, while Cruz was seen shopping in the local Gucci and Louis Vuitton stores. Insiders claim the couple are sharing a luxury suite in Berlin's posh Four Seasons Hotel. However, Cruz's management say her trip to the city was "a spontaneous decision" and that she was due to fly back to Morocco last night to continue filming new movie Sahara. Cruise yesterday confirmed he'll spend the summer in Berlin shooting the third film in the TV spin-off action franchise.
Hannah Claims Tarantino Influenced by 'Jackass'
Daryl Hannah believes Quentin Tarantino was inspired by Jackass: The Movie when it came to her fight scenes in sequel Kill Bill: Vol II. The Splash actress, 44 - who plays lethal assassin Elle Driver in the violent revenge epic - claims maverick Tarantino changed the fight scenes after watching the big-screen version of the MTV show. However, the Oscar-winning filmmaker claims it is just a coincidence that he discovered the Jackass film at the same time as he was directing Hannah through some gory scenes. Tarantino comments, "I went and saw the Jackass movie when we were making the movie. And it's the same time Daryl's head's getting shoved in the toilet and all this gross stuff is happening to her. And then I had a screening of Jackass: The Movie for the crew and that's when she said, 'That's where you got it from!'"
Jackie Chan Displays Handprints in Avenue of Stars
Jackie Chan and John Woo's handprints will go on display at Hong Kong's new Avenue of Stars - as a tribute to the island's top two entertainers. The handprints of Rumble In The Bronx star Chan and Paycheck film director Woo will be displayed at the Avenue of Stars, modeled after Hollywood's Walk of Fame, when it opens later this month. The harbor-front tourist attraction will feature handprints of about 70 Hong Kong film stars, including Tomorrow Never Dies star Michelle Yeoh and actor- singer Andy Lau. The tourism board executive director Clara Chong hopes the broad appeal of Hong Kong movies will make the $5 million display a major tourist attraction.
Marisa Tomei Caught in Gunfire

Hollywood star Marisa Tomei was caught up in real life gang warfare in Los Angeles' notorious South Central district at the weekend. The In The Bedroom star, 39, was attending artist Kenny Scharf's show at his studios when gunshots were heard outside - just after she had left the exhibition. A photographer covering the event says, "I went out to have a cigarette. No sooner do I light up do I hear five gunshots. I see Marisa running back from the valet station. Two security guards come running and telling everyone to go inside. Then there were more gunshots on the other side of the street." Tomei reportedly told the photographer that, "If I die and you get the exclusive, you better give the money to my family." And Tomei's representative Cari Ross confirms, "This is true." Scharf notes the neighborhood is tough and not for the faint-hearted. He tells website Pagesix, "We always have lots of helicopters flying overhead and gunshots going on. I don't even notice it anymore. When the incident happened, I said, 'Oh good, it makes you stay at the party longer.'"
Pammy and Tommy To Marry Again?
Pamela Anderson is reportedly planning to remarry rocker ex-husband Tommy Lee. The couple first married in Cancun, Mexico in 1995 just four days after their first date and six weeks after they first met. They split in 1998 after a tempestuous relationship - former Motley Crue drummer Lee was jailed for six months for assaulting her, and two years ago she claimed she caught hepatitis C after sharing a tattoo needle with him. But friends of the couple claim they are reunited and planning further nuptials - in spite of Anderson's recent claims she wants to remain single for the couple's two kids Brandon, seven, and Dylan, six. Lee is quoted in America's Star magazine telling a pal, "My family's all back together. Pam and the kids are home for good." Star claim the pair even planned to tie the knot in Las Vegas last Friday, but changed their minds at the last minute. Representatives for the pair have refused to comment on the claims - but at the weekend Lee was quoted in another American magazine confessing he's dating supermodel Naomi Campbell.
Faltskog Snubs ABBA Party

ABBA star Agnetha Faltskog left fans devastated by failing to attend a double anniversary party in London, heightening reports she's still bitter over her divorce from former bandmate Bjorn Ulvaeus. A star-studded bash was laid on for the pioneering pop band to mark 30 years since they won the Eurovision Song Contest and five years since the launch of the ABBA musical Mamma Mia!. But while three band members - Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad - enjoyed a special performance of the show and thrilled fans at the Prince Edward Theatre, blonde singer Faltskog snubbed the event. Relations between Faltskog and Ulvaeus have been reportedly strained since the couple divorced in 1981 after a 10-year marriage. Faltskog has led a hermit-like existence since the band split in 1983, living on a remote island off the coast of Sweden, the band's homeland.
