Affleck and Garner Spark Pregnancy Reports
Ben Affleck's girlfriend Jennifer Garner has sparked reports she's pregnant with the Hollywood hunk's baby after she was photographed with a bulging stomach. The couple met on the set of 2003 movie Daredevil and allegedly got engaged 11 days ago fueling rumors they are expecting a child. And celebrity experts insist it's unlikely Garner's swollen belly is a result of over- eating or lack of exercise, because she famously devotes herself to a gruelling health and fitness regime, reports British newspaper The Sun. An insider says, "Jennifer was showing quite a big bump and she was walking very carefully. The bulge is out of proportion with the rest of her body, which is really toned. I'd say she's a few months gone."
Timberlake to Star in 'Shrek 3'

Pop star Justin Timberlake will star alongside real-life girlfriend Cameron Diaz in Shrek 3 as the voice of one of the animated characters. The singer is lending his vocal talents to the role of the young King Arthur in the fantasy feature, which also sees Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers returning to play Donkey and lovable ogre Shrek respectively. And producer Aron Warner has quashed rumors that screen beauty Diaz, who plays Princess Fiona, persuaded him to cast Timberlake - claiming the young pop star was just right for the part. He says, "Our desire was to get somebody who is visible and had their own persona to bring to the table. Justin fit the bill perfectly." Timberlake has already appeared in the cartoon franchise - in Shrek 2, a poster of "Sir Justin" on the wall of Princess Fiona's bedroom flashes across the screen.
Jackson's Aide 'Cashed Checks to Fund Kidnap Plot'
Michael Jackson's senior aide told the singer's child molestation trial on Monday he cashed two checks worth $1.5 million to fund the kidnap of Jackson's teenage accuser and his family. Bank manager Beverly Wagner has confirmed Mark Schaffel cashed the checks in April 2003 from an account belonging to Jackson's Neverland Valley Entertainment, but she did not know how the Thriller singer intended to spend it. And prosecution lawyers claim Schaffel conspired with Jackson to use the money to hold Gavin Arvizo and his family captive in California, while Jackson attempted to persuade them to take part in a video rebutting Martin Bashir's damaging Living With Michael Jackson documentary. Schaffel is also suing Jackson in a separate lawsuit, claiming the troubled star owes him more than $3 million after borrowing the money for a series of shopping sprees. Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion. The trial continues.

The 29-year-old beauty met Pitt during filming for new movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and has been accused of having a secret affair with the hunky actor by the media following his shock separation from Aniston in January. But Jolie is furious about claims Aniston discovered their affair when she overheard their raunchy phone conversation, and insists she played no part in their split. She tells magazine Vanity Fair the phone sex rumors are "absolute bulls**t" adding, "I knew nothing about their marriage. They are wonderful people and friends."
Bloom Begs for 'Coronation Street' Role

Hollywood hunk Orlando Bloom has begged bosses of British soap opera Coronation Street to allow him to follow actor Sir Ian McKellen's footsteps by starring in the TV show. The heart-throb is desperate to act opposite his Lord of the Rings co-star McKellen in the programme, despite the fact a role in the show would be a dramatic step-back from his impressive movie career. He tells British newspaper The Daily Star, "I can't wait to do a little Corrie. Ian McKellen's in it - brilliant. Maybe I should go in the Rovers pub while Ian's there, with my pointy ears and bow and arrow strapped to my back and do a little number with a pint." A spokeswoman for the show says, "I'm sure the younger ladies of the Street would be delighted if Orlando Bloom joined."
McGregor Fears Backlash for 'The Island'

Scottish hunk Ewan McGregor fears he'll be blasted for appearing in upcoming Hollywood movie The Island. The 34-year-old star is convinced his decision to star in the Michael Bay thriller alongside screen siren Scarlett Johansson will ultimately rocket his career to even greater heights. And while he accepts many British film critics will attack his decision to star in a big-budget American blockbuster, he insists he needs to commit to the occasional box office smash to maintain his momentum in the tough h industry. He says, "What I like about my career so far is that it has got really broad variety. The older I get the wider my scope should be. It's funny, in Britain I'll get slagged off for doing The Island, I know I will. People will say, 'What's he doing f**king off to America doing that sh**e?' And on the other hand unless you've done a big American action movie you're not really given any credit."
Presley Upset About Bed Scene
Priscilla Presley vetoed one scene in upcoming Elvis miniseries, after insisting it was inaccurate. The socialite was called in as a consultant on the CBS project and immediately had issues with one scene that left her bristling. Actor Jonathan Rhys-meyers, who plays The King in the new series, says, "There was one scene Priscilla wasn't happy with because it was inaccurate. It was me sitting on the bed with Priscilla explaining why I didn't find her attractive after the child was born - and so we corrected that."

Freeman Quits Comedy for Good

British funnyman Martin Freeman has devastated fans by announcing his plans to quit comedy for good. The star shot to fame in hit British TV comedy The Office, and has garnered international acclaim as Arthur Dent in amusing new sci-fi movie The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. But despite his success in the genre, Freeman insists he's desperate for a serious role to help him lose his funnyman reputation. He explains, "One can only hope for a part as a paedophile child killer to break out of it. So it's now just a question of moving away from comedy and going for something a bit straighter. "Although I love comedy, my background isn't in comedy. I don't want to do novelty comedies for too long. But it's just going to look like I'm trying to validate myself if I play something like a child killer. "That would be like, "Look, I can do this as well mum." So the part would have to be carefully chosen."
Schwimmer's Battle with Depression
David Schwimmer ensures he always has a full calendar of work lined up - because he spirals into depression when he's relaxing at home. The former Friends actor believes he'll only find happiness when he becomes a father, insisting the fulfillment of his other ambitions have failed to lift his bleak outlook on life. Schwimmer says of being happy, "It's a question that I ask myself a lot. I think I have moments of happiness, but I'm not generally happy. "I distract myself with work, rather than finding a kind of peace or happiness, which still eludes me. "Basically, I don't think I'll truly be happy until I'm a father and a husband. There's a part of me that thinks, did the celebrity thing, did the entertainment thing, done plays, done TV, done film - done it. "So when you get to that philosophical 'What's life really about?', then if you're a man, it comes down to being a father."
