Lohan Not Ready to Leave Rehab
Lindsay Lohan's rehab stint in Utah will not be coming to an end any time soon, according to the actress' mother. Dina Lohan insists her troubled daughter isn't ready to face the world again after spending the past seven weeks at the Cirque Lodge facility in a bid to curb her wild ways. Recent reports suggested Lohan was planning to leave the Utah rehab facility this weekend, but Dina Lohan insists that's not the case. In a curt email message to Billy Bush, the anchor of U.S. TV news show Access Hollywood, Dina writes: "Not true, staying in Utah." Lindsay checked into the Cirque Lodge in early August, marking her third stint in rehab this year after previous visits to the Wonderland and Promises facilities in Los Angeles.

David and Victoria Beckham have topped a quirky new U.S. magazine poll to find the Most Overrated People, Places and Things. Radar magazine has named the famous couple at the top of its new over-hyped list - ahead of cupcakes, Botox and Brad Pitt. Anderson & Richards Offered $1 Million to Pose for Playboy

Pals Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards are considering a $1 million offer to pose nude together in an upcoming issue of Playboy magazine. Both blondes have disrobed for the men's magazine in the past, and now Playboy boss Hugh Hefner wants the actresses to team up for a spread in the January 2008 issue of the publication. A source tells the Globe, "Neither Pam nor Denise has committed yet, but they're seriously considering it." Anderson has appeared nude in Playboy a record 12 times, while Richards stripped for the December 2004 issue. The pair became firm friends when they shot mob comedy Blonde & Blonder in Canada last year .
Judge Rules Spector Case a Mistrial

The judge overseeing the Phil Spector murder case has declared a mistrial. Judge Larry Paul Fidler sent the members of the jury home on Wednesday after hearing they were split ten to two after 12 days of deliberation and six ballots - and unable to break their deadlock. Spector was accused of murdering actress Lana Clarkson in his Alhambra, California mansion in 2003. The trial began in April and featured 77 witnesses. Officials at the Los Angeles District Attorney's office state they will retry the record producer. Spector, who was in court in Los Angeles for the judge's decision, will remain free on $1 million bail.
Locklear Confirms Wagner Romance

Actress Heather Locklear has confirmed she's dating former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner - and has even considered marrying the ageing hunk. The couple has been linked romantically for the past few months, but both have been keen to deny reports they're dating. Now, Locklear comes clean to America's People magazine, admitting her romance is "wonderful and exciting and blossoming," adding she feels deserving of something that "feels so right". The actress, whose 11-year marriage to rocker Richie Sambora ended last year, admits she can see herself as the next Mrs. Wagner. She reveals, "If Jack said, `Let's get married, ' I'd go, `OK!' But I have a daughter to consider. I'm trying to be a thoughtful role mode, and not selfish."

Michael Jackson has secretly wed his children's long-serving nanny, according to shocking new U.S. reports. Despite denials from the pop superstar's camp, America's National Enquirer has printed copies of a new real estate document, in which Jackson states he's married. And now sources close to the King Of Pop have confirmed Jackson wed 40-year-old Grace Rwaramba in Las Vegas earlier this year . A source tells the Enquirer, "Grace... is one of his dearest friends. She is one of the few people who stood by his side through all of his problems - including the child molestation trial in 2005." If true, this is Jackson's third marriage. He was previously wed to Debbie Rowe and Lisa Marie Presley.
Hilton to Travel to Rwanda

Socialite Paris Hilton is living up to her promise to be more charitable - she's planning a trip to Rwanda. The Simple Life star, 26, vowed to turn her life around following her 45-day stint behind bars in June for violating probation on a 2006 drink-driving charge. Hilton's first move will be a charity jaunt to the African nation later this year to help those less fortunate than herself, and she hopes her involvement will raise awareness of the cause. She tells E! news, "I'll be going in November, after I get back from filming my movie. There's so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help. I want to visit more countries where poverty and children's issues are a big concern. I know there's a lot of good I can do just by getting involved and bringing attention to these issues."

Inmate Admits Lying About Police Involvement in Rapper's Murder
A prison inmate informant who claimed a Los Angeles police officer was involved in the killing of rapper Notorious B.I.G. has admitted he lied. Waymond Anderson, a R&B singer serving a life sentence for murder, admits he implicated policeman Rafael Perez in the 1997 slaying in order to receive a financial payout from city officials. In a deposition made on 20 August, Anderson said, "I don't know Rafael Perez. It was a lie, and I'm ashamed of it." Anderson now claims the family of Notorious B.I.G. - real name Christopher Wallace - and their lawyer promised him a share of any potential reward if he lied about police involvement in the murder. However, the Wallace family's lawyer Perry R. Sanders Jr. denies the accusation, stating, "This is wholesale, made-up-out-of-whole-cloth perjury." The hip-hop star, who was also known as Biggie Smalls, was shot dead in Los Angeles in March 1997. Earlier this year , his family asked a judge for permission to expand a wrongful death lawsuit against Los Angeles city officials after discovering Perez was on duty the night the rapper was killed.
Actor Michael Evans Dies
Veteran actor Michael Evans has died from complications related to old age. He was 87. Evans, best know for his role as Colonel Douglas Austin in U.S. TV series The Young and the Restless, passed away on 4 September in Woodland Hills, California. Born in Sittingbourne, England in 1920, he moved to New York in 1950 to star in Broadway play Ring Round The Moon, before later moving to Hollywood. Twice-married Evans is survived by two sons and two sisters.
