- One of the most respected Brazilian thespians of all time, Leonardo Villar has a distinguished career in theatre, cinema and television. He was born on 25 July, 1924 in Piracicaba, São Paulo. His career initiated in the 1950's with several works in theatre and one special series for TV. But it was as the simple man Zé do Burro in The Given Word (1962) that his career turned around. His film debut and a leading role in one of the most important classics of Brazilian cinema, the only film to ever receive the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and the very first film from Brazil to receive an Oscar nomination in the Best Foreign Film Language category. Then, he played the title roles in Lampiao, King of the Badlands (1964) and The Hour and Turn of Augusto Matraga (1965), winning a Best Actor award at the Brazilia Festival of Brazilian Cinema. Alternating between films and TV series, Villar's career highlights were "Barriga de Aluguel" (1990), "Desejo" (1990), "Os Ossos do Barão" (1996), Ação Contra Amigos (1998), the memorable Paschoal in "Laços de Família" (2000), and most recently Chega de Saudade (2007).
Villar died on 3 July, 2020, a few weeks before his 97th birthday. - Director

Dani Libardi is a Brazilian filmmaker. She directed all four seasons of the sci-fi show "3%", the first Brazilian original Netflix series. In addition, Dani directed episodes of the International Emmy Kids Awards nominee TV show "O Zoo da Zu" (Discovery Kids). Further, she directed music videos of artists such as Zeca Baleiro, Fernanda Dadona, and francisco, el hombre.
In 2009 she directed, alongside colleagues from the Audiovisual undergraduate course at the University of São Paulo (USP), the web series "3%". After winning the FIC-TV grant, the show was exhibited on TV Brasil. It eventually received an award at the International Television Festival in Rio de Janeiro, and later became a public success on Youtube.
In animation, she directed the pilot of the teen show "Nave Sub-D" (TV Brasil and TV Cultura, 2011) and scripted episodes of the animation "Sítio do Picapau Amarelo" (TV Globo, 2012). She is an artist and has decided to bring her drawings to the screen. She directed and illustrated the animated music video of the song "O Pardal" (The Sparrow), for a Brazilian singer Zeca Baleiro kid's album. She also created, wrote, illustrated, and directed the game "Vagalumia".
Dani also directed another sci-fi web series, "Zona SSP", upcoming. In nonfiction projects, she directed and edited the documentary films "Fiel Torcida" (2009) and "The Key to Our Home" (2015).- João Vitti was born on 30 October 1967 in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil. Born in Brazil, Vitor studied international business in the USA while on a NCAA basketball scholarship. Living in Austria for the past ten years, he has been working as an independent video and filmmaker in Vienna.
