Vladimir Schevchenko is Soviet and Russian artist-animator. In 1956-1958, he worked as a carpenter at the Krasnyy Oktyabr mine. In 1958-1963, Schevchenko studied at the Lugansk State Art School. In 1966-1969, he was an artist in a military typography. In 1970-1972, Vladimir studied biennial courses for animators at the Soyuzmultfilm studio. Since 1973 - the animator on the Soyuzmultfilm. From 1992 to 1996 he collaborated with the studio 'Christmas Films'. Worked exclusively in the technique of hand-drawn animation. He participated in the creation of 80 animated films. He taught at VGIK. Until the last day he worked at the studio 'Soyuzmultfilm'.- Editor
