Russell Comegys was raised in Vidalia, Georgia. Graduated from Vidalia Comprehensive High School and attended Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon Georgia, a Baptist College, where he took his first acting class. Transferred to the University of Georgia where he changed majors his senior year from Biology and Literature to Theatre and a Minor in Spanish. Studied with Martha Burgess, Nick Conti and Gene Gabriel Moore in Atlanta then moved to New York City to hone his craft at The Lee Strasberg Institute and the Gene Frankel Studio.- Actor

Petar Rnic was born in London in 1948 to a Serbian father and English mother. He was trained by Stuart Mullins at stage school before he started acting in 1999. He was also bodyguard to the Serbian Royal Family, and World, European and British Tug of War Champion. His first major film was Triads, Yardies and Onion Bhajees which was premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2003 and also won best picture at The Bite the Mango Film Festival 2003.- Flo Steinberg was born on 17 March 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Adebayo Faleti was born on 26 December 1930 in Oyo, Nigeria, British West Africa. He was an actor and writer, known for Afonja (2002), Sawo-Sègbèrì (2005) and Basorun Gaa (2004). He was married to Olubunmi and Moteniola. He died on 23 July 2017 in Ibadan, Nigeria.- The great Bernese violinist, Thomas Füri was born in Bern in 1947 to a musical family and took his first violin lessons from his father Erich. Despite claiming not to have practiced more than an hour a day, he progressed steadily and on his return from national service in 1967, at the age of 20 and without a conservatoire diploma, he was was booked to fill a back desk second violin spot with the Camerata Bern on an eleven-week world tour.
The experience galvanised him as a musician and, on his return, he enrolled at the Hochschule für Musik Bern, where he studied with Max Rostal, before going on to postgraduate studies with Ivan Galamian at the Juilliard School in New York.
Concertmaster positions in Koblenz, Lausanne and Basel followed, before he joined the conductorless chamber orchestra Camerata Bern as leader/director in 1979, where he stayed until 1993 creating a substantial recording catalogue for Deutsche Grammophon and being awarded the Canton of Bern music prize for his service. From 1985 until 2000 he also played with the salon music quintet I Salonisti, with whom he made his appearance in the multi-awardwinning Titanic in 1997. He is particularly known for his recordings of violin pieces and in particular those of Fritz Kreisler, which are definitive.
In 1994, he founded the Basel-based Aria Quartet, creating a concert series in the city.
He was a dedicated educator, and for many years taught at the Zurich University of the Arts and the Konservatorium Winterthur as well as his permanent post in Basel. His is survived by his wife and three daughters. - Writer

Novelist and historian Thomas Fleming was born in Jersey City, NJ, in 1927. His father, a World War I veteran, was a major figure in Jersey City politics for more than 30 years. His mother was a teacher in the city school system.
He graduated from St. Peter's Preparatory School in Jersey City, then did a hitch in the US Navy for a year, serving on the battleship Topeka in the South Pacific shortly before the end of the war. He returned to college after his service, earning a Bachelors Degree with honors from New York's Fordham University in 1950. He worked as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor before turning to writing full-time in 1960. His first book, "Now We Are Enemies", was an account of the Revolutionary War Battle of Bunker HIll and was published in that same year. It was quite successful, and was featured as a main selection of The Literary Guild. Many of his novels focus on the Irish-American experience in Jersey City, which had been run for many years by the descendants of Irish immigrants, and he set some of his novels in the twilight of that ethnic dynasty in the city.
He has also written biographies of famous Revolutionary-era figures, such as Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin. Although his main interest was in Revolutionary Era America, he has also written books on World War I and World War II. In addition, he has written a series of historical novels involving a wealthy family named the Stapletons, tracing their history through various historical periods. He was also a consultant on the PBS documentary series The Irish in America: Long Journey Home (1998).- David Cogdill died on 23 July 2017 in Manteca, California, USA.
