Born in Santa Cruz, California, Beverly Garland studied dramatics under Anita Arliss, the sister of renowned stage and screen star George Arliss. She acted in a little theater in Glendale then in Phoenix after her family relocated to Arizona. Garland also worked in radio and appeared scantily-clad in a few risqué shorts before making her feature film debut in a supporting part in D.O.A. (1949). Her husbands include actor Richard Garland, and land developer Fillmore Crank, who built 2 hotels which bear her name. Ms. Garland's longest runs were on Scarecrow and Mrs. King (1983) and My Three Sons (1960). Later on she guest-starred on a number of TV shows, including The Guardian (2001), on CBS, and Weakest Link (2001), on NBC, and maintained her continuing roles on 7th Heaven (1996), on the WB (now the CW), and Port Charles (1997), on ABC, which began in the 1990s.
In 1983, Ms. Garland received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2001, in recognition of her 50 years in show business, the Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters inducted her into its Hall of Fame. Ms. Garland has two very significant historical television "firsts": she was television's first policewoman as the star of Decoy (1957), and, more importantly, the series gave her the honor of becoming the first actress to star in a television dramatic series. After her husband of 39 years died in 1999, Beverly continued to operate the 255-room Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in North Hollywood (with the assistance of three of her four children). Beverly Garland died at age 82 in her home in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California on 5 December, 2008.- Ms. Winters received a 2020 OBIE Award and Lucille Lortel Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play for HEROES OF THE FOURTH TURNING written by Will Arbery at Playwrights Horizons with direction by Danya Taymor.
Zoë is familiar to New York theatre audiences from her performances in WHITE NOISE at THE PUBLIC, THE LAST MATCH at ROUNDABOUT, THE HARVEST at LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater, Ars Nova's production of SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS at the Signature Theatre about which The New Yorker wrote "...the phenomenal Zoë Winters...plays her anguish from the inside," New York Theatre Workshop's RED SPEEDO, Lincoln Center's SHOWS FOR DAYS, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING at The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park, Soho Rep's Obie Award winning AN OCTOROON and NYTW's production of Caryl Churchill's LOVE AND INFORMATION at The Minetta Lane, for which she received rave reviews. Time Out declared "Winters...is one to watch out for - zesty, zany and vibrant, she completely reinvents herself with each new character. Give that gal a romantic comedy or an old-fashioned farce."
In the New York Times, Elisabeth Vincentelli wrote: "Give this girl a vehicle already! Zoë Winters shined as an efficient sports therapist in "Red Speedo," a peppily manipulative religious leader in "The Harvest" and a hot mess grouchily attending a silent retreat in "Small Mouth Sounds." While this team player strives in ensembles, her droll humor and Swiss-quality timing make her ready for a lead."
When Ms. Winters created the role of "Bec" in Amy Herzog's award winning 4000 MILES at Lincoln Center the New York Times said she was "excellent"; The New York Post called her "pitch perfect"; and Time Out described her "beautifully realized turns." Her other NY performances include the NY Times Critics' pick HATER at the Ohio Theatre and LOVE SONG at 59E59.
Ms. Winters received her BFA from SUNY Purchase College Conservatory of Acting where she was granted the Dean's Award for Acting. - Actor

can possibly be, Sascha Radetsky has had a traditional dance history up
until the new millennium. Radetsky is not only a skilled and gifted
dancer, but also a heart-throb and sex symbol in his own right.
Born in Santa Cruz, California, Radetsky began his ballet studies in
the San Francisco Bay Area with Damara Bennett and Ayako Takahashi.
Like a lot of other male dancers, Sascha got started in ballet when his
older sister took classes and Sascha would have to sit and watch. He
was blown away by the men in the class taking those big long leaps and
jumps and decided to join the class.
By 15, he was invited to Moscow's Bolshoi Academy underneath the
renowned male teacher Pyotr Pestov.
After a year in Russia, he studied on scholarship at the Kirov Academy
in Washington, D. C. under Rudolph Kharatian and Andrei Garbouz. He
toured with the Kirov Ballet throughout the United States and
internationally.
He also studied on scholarship at the summer programs of the School of
American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre's School of Classical Ballet
with Mikhail Baryshnikov, the San Francisco Ballet School and the
Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Vail, Colorado.
Radetsky joined the ABT as an apprentice in 1995 and moved up to the
corps in 1996.
But his real break came in 2000 when he starred as Charlie, a dance
student and loved interest in the movie "Center Stage." He reprised his
role in pop singer Mandy Moore's music video "I Wanna Be With You" from
the Center Stage soundtrack.
And as for his dancing career, Radetsky became a soloist in

Acting came to Stephen Quadros almost by default. He originally moved
to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a drummer, where he achieved
local success and radio airplay in Los Angeles with the band SNOW, which featured
Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot, Ratt) on guitar. Stephen was even flown to
New York to audition for the group KISS.
But when repetitive hand injuries aborted his percussive pursuits, Quadros dove into acting, studying with a variety of respected teachers, including: John Ruskin, Cameron Watson, William Alderson, Stella Adler,
Arthur Mendoza, Scott Bernstein, Michelle Danner and Mark Haining.
As an actor Quadros has starred, guest-starred or co-starred in over 100
films and television shows, working with such Hollywood luminaries as
Bryan Cranston, Kathryn Bigelow, Miles Teller, Nicolas Winding Refn, John Hawkes, Cuba Gooding Jr., Peter Falk, David
Caruso, Blair Underwood, Traci Lords and Angela Lansbury.
Stephen Quadros is also a martial arts expert, specializing in kickboxing
and mixed martial arts (MMA), areas where he has been a practitioner,
teacher and trainer for over 20 years.
Because of his combined talents, Stephen appeared in and served as
fight technical advisor for "Cradle 2 the Grave (2003)", starring Jet Li,
Mark Dacascos and DMX ("Cradle 2 The Grave" hit the
theaters in February 2003 and went to #1). Additionally he choreographed
one of the fight sequences in "Cradle".
Mister Quadros was also fight coordinator/choreographer and 2nd unit
director for "Pit Fighter" (20th Century Fox) which was released in 2005.
He was also fight technical advisor for "Exit Wounds" (2001) starring
Steven Seagal, Michael Jai White and DMX, co-starred in "Sworn To Justice" with Black Belt
hall of fame member Cynthia Rothrock and was the guest lead on a
season premiere of the popular TV series "Walker, Texas Ranger",
squaring off opposite martial arts icon Chuck Norris.
He was also one of the world's leading martial arts and combat sports
journalists. In 1998 he became a columnist and contributing editor for
Black Belt magazine, a position he held for over 3 years, where his
monthly column, which he titled "FightSport", garnered him international
attention. Black Belt felt strong enough about "Fightsport" (and Stephen)
that they named an entire magazine after it and empowered him as editor.
"Black Belt Presents: Fightsport, with Stephen Quadros" made it's debut
nationally in February 2002. (Quadros participated in the first year of the
publication to get the magazine launched and established, then exited to
concentrate on film, television and sports broadcasting.)
Stephen Quadros is well known in martial arts circles around
the globe for his role as host and/or television commentator for some of
the largest and most successful fight shows in the world including
Showtime Network's mixed martial art series: Strikeforce, as well as
Pride Fighting Championships (pay per view), Glory Kickboxing (ESPN,
CBS Sports). Mr. Quadros was given his nickname "The Fight Professor"

On a sultry July 7th evening in Barahona, Dominican Republic, little Milagros Padilla (a.k.a. Ludo Vika) merengued into this world. The vivacious daughter of Manuel and Teresa Padilla, never stopped dancing. When her father moved the family to Puerto Rico, Ludo snuck out of the house to attend Sarita Ayala's dance school. Sarita was so impressed with Ludo's talent that she gave her a full scholarship and for Ludo there was no turning back. It wasn't long before she set her sights on Europe, where her dancing graced the stages of Italy, France, and Germany. Vegas was next. She and dance partner Bill Spinning would go on to become one of the premier and most respected Adagio acts in Vegas history.
After the loss of her sister Matilde to AIDS, Ludo knew the silent beauty of a dancer would have to give way to powerful words if she was going to spread the message of safe sex in honor of her fallen sister. The tenacious Island girl would turn to the world of stand-up comedy to spread that message. She soon positioned herself to open for some of the great comedians of our times including Paul Rodriquez and George Lopez.
The witty Ludo was then noticed by Hollywood, getting her first big break in the cult classic comedy, "The Crazysitter" with Ed Begley Jr. and Carol Kane. Ludo was also asked to star in two groundbreaking American-style sitcoms for Telemundo and produced by Sony television. The shows, "Solo En America" and "Viva Vegas" saw a whole new Spanish speaking audience fall in love with the gifted actress.
Next, Ludo chronicled her incredible story in a one-woman show called, L.V.'s Under the Mango Tree to huge critical and popular success. Its message would go on to inspire countless young Latina women to embrace the dance of life with courage and persistence. A dance in which Ludo Vika has not yet finished.- Actor
