- From the first images already it is possible to estimate a meticulous work and firmly archaeological, and a reason: to uncover the different facets of a singular personality, which impressed and modified in a substantial way the form of developing the genre of terror in the Spanish speaking countries. Following the steps of his admired teacher Lon Chaney, it was constituted in a modal undiscussed in the art of the characterization, helped by his mysterious freightage, an absolute mastery in the art of the makeup, and a vocal serious and cavernous record that it was promoting with his speaking slowly and worrying. For years, and across the theatre, the cinema and the television, he produced an almost hypnotic relation with his public, sublimating his own fears. The public, in consequence, paid him with eternal unconditionality. The diversity of quiet testimonies reveal us the profile of a man linked with the mystery, to which he introduces us of to little and removing of the hand. His nomad character wrapped him and took him for infinite ways sealed by strange contrasts that related it with the arcane thing. But probably his real secret takes root in the creation of peculiar beings. Beings across which he was obstinate for persisting and to slip on a collective memory, that it comes out as a macabre joke, proper of the best of his prominent figures.
- Sonia (45) and Jonatan (18), mother and son, share the house. The husband is absent - he has left, and attempts to find him are not successful. The son could also leave at any moment. The anxiety felt by the mother distorts her perception. Sonia drinks, gets drunk, talks in her sleep and realizes she is capable of dangerous things while inebriated. Jonatan feels responsible and takes care of her. If the drunken episodes recur, and the mother becomes more and more fragile and vulnerable, will the son be able to leave?
- In front of María's house (67) and Julio (69), there are two acacias, very old. Their branches are connected and they seem to form a single glass. One of them has the whole appearance of being dry. When it arrives the spring and they grow green, it is not possible to distinguish if the grown leaves are of one or of the two trees. María and Julio discuss: she believes that it is dry and that it is necessary to throw it below; she fears that it can fall on somebody. He doubts and believes that it is not still died, and he waters it, like in an act of faith. Julio planted that acacia when one of his children was born and it is not he easy to admit what María says. Connected with this conflict the life of two characters it is knitted in a house of more than a hundred years. The visit of some neighbor, a party, the memories and the ghosts, the rain and the dreams, the stocks reiterated day by day, the stations, the variations of the lights and of the shades, they build the plot, so that everything, silent and irreversibly, speak to us of the step of the time.
- A man comes in a boat to an island on the river Parana. It goes to a place where there was a house or perhaps a hamlet. Small signs of something old and lost: its native place. The presence of the man allows that materialized the things in the godforsaken place: ranches and tables, animals and canoes. He constructs, for living again, the space for the reunion. Soon, others come to the island: space, light, last beauty, bodies and words, they spill from the ground and the river. It is the reunion, fundamentally, with its dead father, whom it does not see from four years and of the one that does not remember the face. It is the reunion with its dears. With its dead persons and with its birds, with the musician of the river and with its pains.
- The coast: place from where human beings leave or arrive, line drawn by the water over the earth, feasible of being represented with elementary slight knowledge of cartography. But, a nomadic coast, summons to drama. It can happens to us, start from a place where we will never be able to find even if we decided, or it becomes necessary, the return. It can happen to us, never arrive to the place where we started off, that floats, without rules, with the tides. A nomadic coast makes the trip a peregrination, a destiny. The nomadic coast is a choral film. Their personages ramble between the walls of a city that ignores and leaves them to their own luck. The matter is the daily life rarefied by desire, dreams, solitude and death.
- Donde cae el sol tells a little story between a 65 years ol man and a woman who is thirty years younger that him. The film, explores the human relationships through fully identifiable human beings, taking also into account the prejudices, the lust of life and all those everyday defeats.
- In front of the camera, the face of the poet Jorge Calvetti (Jujuy, Argentina, 1916-2002) is shown serene, worthy, deepened by the signs of the life. It says: "to Return to Quebrada of Humahuaca is a way to say I returned seeking landscapes, seeking my house, those houses of province that ships of the time seem. ..I returned to a place where the light and the mountains permit a sensitive man to think that when arrives the hour of the twilight inclines toward the shadow the scale of the world ". Since its department in the Federal Capital of Argentina, evokes, in a loaded motionless trip of images and words, its births, its land, its people, a private way to see the world: "I maintained provided that the reality rests in the mystery". By the evocation, the spaces and the times are broken. The story proposes a to go and to come constant among Calvetti and the "images saved" in its remembrances, among its humanity and its poetic vision of the world.
- A father of family affected to the drink. A mother and her three children in the difficult age. All uniting by a history of poor district, that it travels between laughter and daily tragedies. A birthday reunites them with relatives close, resisting dissimilar lives apparently, but coined by the same declining crucible of a world that little knows of hopes and dreams.
- The movie is a documentary about the argetine poet Juan Laurentino Ortiz, known as "Juan L" or "Juanele". It's a story about a travel trought the Paraná river (Entre Ríos, Argentina), where the nature acting (water, birds, air, rain, trees, sun, etc). The film have parts of documentary about Juan L.
