- American frontiersman Davy Crockett fights in the Creek Indian War, is elected to the U.S. Congress and fights for Texas at the Alamo.

- This series began in NYC/Secaucus, on local station WOR-TV channel 9, in 1955, and ran a little more than 3 decades on that station, ending as a WWOR show in 1988. It featured top-tier movies, where each feature would run for an entire week, airing twice nightly. This format, that simulated the local neighborhood movie house, was also adopted by other local stations, realizing that this was one way to reach the most viewers, considering the competition from the networks. The first 3 features were "Magic Town" staring James Stewart, "Body And SouL" staring John Garfield", and "A Double Life"staring Ronald Coleman. Much of the 1930s and 40s library from RKO were featured. As the station was a subsidiary of "RKO General Tire", many of those films were rental free, to the station. Those RKO films included "King Kong","Gunga Din","Citizen Kane" and the "Fred Astaire"- "Ginger Rogers" RKO musicals. In the summer of 1957, a few of those RKO films such as "King Kong" and "Top Hat" were aired, one time only, on ABC Network TV, on Saturday nights, after which they returned to be rerun on "Million Dollar Movie".

- This late Friday night ABC TV music series (1972-75), produced by Dick Clark Productions, featured select performances from several concerts each week. Footage of top R&B, Folk and Rock acts of the day included Alice Cooper, Jim Croce. Do Diddley, The Allman Brothers, Seals and Crofts, Curtis Mayfield and Dr. John. In most viewing areas "In Concert" competed with the first half hour of NBC TVs later Friday Night rock entry "Midnight Special". As the "VCR boom" was a decade away, late night viewers would have to chose which act to watch when both shows were on the air at the same time, both a delight and a hindrance for music fans.

- "Music Scene" was presented by ABC TV in a 45 minute format, Monday evenings 7:30-8:15, a unique time slot that pitted it against CBS' "Gunsmoke" at 7:30PM and NBCs "Laugh In" at 8PM . The series had several hosts including Paul Anka, Lily Tomlin, Groucho Marx and David Steinerg who often served as host, writer, and comedian. This series presented a wider variety of musical guests than did ABCs earlier series "Shindig(1964). The main theme, as with "Shindig" was the hits of the day. In that tradition, "Music Scene" featured such guests as Crosby Stills and Nash, Janis Joplin, James Brown, Judy Collins, and The Rascals as well as The Beatles' in the form of their 1969 video, "The Ballad Of John And Yoko" . Early Rock, Adult Contemporary , R n B and Country were also featured with the appearances of Jerry Lee Lewis, The Everly Brothers,Tony Bennett, Eydie Gorme , Lou Rawls, Jerry Butler, Sonny James and others
- Host Dick Clark introduces various musical guest stars, who perform their latest hit record.
- To boost listener ratings, radio personality Mike Jason (Dennis O'Keefe) encourages sponsors, of his murder mystery radio show, to offer a reward to anyone who can locate safe cracker Jimmy Valentine, who is reportedly retired. Jason and co worker Cleo Arden, not Eve, ( played by Gloria Dickson) lead the hunt . which takes them to a small and previously quiet town. There is little tough guy Mousey (George Stone, who else ?), who becomes over zealous over the possibility of winning the reward. There is Bonnie (Ruth Terry), Mike's teen girlfriend , who adds further mayhem. The original film was cut to 54 minutes due to its' B movie billing and later television. At times. scenes may seem unconnected, for that reason.
- Anniversary show filmed for the 22nd anniversary of the lone ranger.
- Originating at 8PM on the US West Coast and with over 20 full length songs this concert went late into the night back east to the delight of the TV viewers who were insomniacs. Rod almost, 37 years, here is quite agile here moving all over the stage with each upbeat number. He went with his roots performing early Rock standards "Little Queenie","Sweet Little Rock And Roller , "Tear It Up", "Dance With Me" and the soulful " If Loving You Is Wrong I Don't Want To Be Right". Rod is joined by Tina Turner for " Hot Legs" and by Tina and Kim Carnes for"Stay With Me". He performs many of his signature songs including "Tonight's The Night "., Do You Think I'm Sexy", "You're In My Heart" and "I'm Losing You". Rod performs "Young Turks (Young Hearts Be Free Tonight)" accompanied by the hit video, and the autobiographical "I Was Only Joking" to a slide show with pictures from his youth.Rod does some fancy soccer footwork throughout. Rod closes with "Maggie May" and then plenty of balloons are released.
- This weekly music series, hosted by Merv Griffin, was seen Saturdays at 5:30 PM EST on NBC TV, two hours earlier than the recently canceled ABC "Dick Clark Saturday Night Beechnut Show"(1958-60). With the same sponsor, "Beechnut Gum", NBC sought to pick up on the audience that The Saturday Dick Clark Show left behind. The series presented live Pop and R n R acts performing to a teen studio audience. The NBC Orchestra backed up the performers who didn't have their own instrumental accompaniment.

- Judy opens with a medley which included "Carolina In Tne Morning", The Trolley Song" and " Get Happy". From her film "Easter Parade" she performs " A Couple of Swells" with guest David Wayne doing the part done by Fred Astaire in the film.She closes the show with a tearful rendition of "Over The Rainbow"
- John Denver guest hosted this Pilot (Episode 1) with guests that included: Mama Cass, The Everly Brothers, The Isley Brothers, Harry Chapin, Linda Ronstadt, Argent and Helen Reddy. The theme of this pilot was to encourage the youth that had reached 18 years to register to vote in the upcoming presidential election. The voting age had just been lowered to 18. The two biggest issues, at that time, were Watergate and the war in Vietnam. Among the musical highlights were Harry Chapin performing his hit "Taxi", Linda Ronstadt sang her popular ballad "Long Long Time", Helen Reddy sang "I Am Woman" and the Britsh group Argent performed their 1972 hit "Hold Tour Head High".Wolfman Jack appeared on camera as the main host and announcer and previewed upcoming shows, which he would do for the series' 8 year run. ----
- Lisa Sorrow, a former Nazi Concentration Camp inmate, enlists Paul's help in tracking down a Nazi war criminal in the desert heat, in order to bring him to justice.
- In Monte Carlo, Paul comes to the aid of an old friend, Ramon de Vega. Charlotte Hyde accuses Ramon of steeling her valuable bracelet, during a romantic encounter. Ramon is facing a jail sentence. Paul, as his attorney, finds that Charlotte didn't disclose her real identity and that she has a hidden agenda.
