- An advertising executive sets out to find a woman for a new advertising campaign. His only clue to the woman is a photograph, and the search leads him into bewildering political ploys and mayhem.
- The childless widow of Allan Fury bequeaths the Fury estate to her Fuller relatives, but Allan's illegitimate son who masquerades as a servant hopes to grab the estate for himself.
- The storyline centres on four young female factory workers who escape the monotony of their jobs by spending their evenings at the Chiswick Palais, the local dance hall, where they have various problems with their boyfriends.
- John Mannering does a deal with a crooked insurance agent in order to recover an Aztec mask worth a hundred thousand pounds from an ex-convict,Mark Seldon. However, Seldon's old gang boss wants the mask for himself and threatens Seldon's daughter Anne as his security. Mannering now has to recover the mask by saving Anne.
- Surgeon John Hallam has perfected an 'invisible man', a device which is transplanted into the ear and 'tells' people to obey instructions. He uses it on banker Sir Frederick Howard, telling him to melt down thirty million dollars' worth of gold from the City of London. Howard is evasive with the Nemesis agents and is later killed, having served his purpose. Hallam and accomplice Sumner transport the gold to the continent. The pursuing Craig gets captured by them and wakes up at a roadside in Holland. He has an 'invisible man' implanted in him and he has to obey its instructions...
- The fingerprints of a man believed to be dead for ten years show up in a stolen car. John Drake follows a lead to northern Scotland, and finds him and his daughter working a tavern called the Gallows Tree. The man claims he is no longer involved with spying for either side. It's up to Drake to discover the truth.
- Cal and Thorn, two Americans, go deep sea diving on the Costa Del Sol and, having brought ashore a fish, proceed to double-cross and kill each other. The fish turns out to be plastic and contains a hundred thousand dollars in notes. The Department team arrive and Stewart and Annabelle pose as a married couple interested in diving to discover the drop-off whilst Jason heads for Madrid in pursuit of the engraver who is making the counterfeit notes.
- Spanish police attempt to flag down a white Chevrolet but it crashes and is revealed to have been 'driven' by a dummy and worked by remote control. Jason notes that the dummy is wearing an identical tie-pin to a man in England whose speciality is remote-controlled cars. Back in Spain, despite lack of cooperation from the local authorities, the team foil an attempt to drive a remote-controlled vehicle into a N.A.T.O. convoy.
- Patrick Grant is an over-worked designer whose wife Catherine insists on living beyond their means. He meets Joy, who owns kennels, and they fall in love. But when Joy gets pregnant by Patrick and asks him to leave Catherine and marry her, he caves in under the pressure, requiring Dr. Corder to sort him out.
