From turf wars, violence between the homeless, violence towards the homeless, true stories from homeless people on how they manage to live day-to-day, and the reaction to the homeless from the public, living on the streets is very tough. Covid has reduced the footfall of the public on the streets and in town centres, so "tapping" produces little money for the homeless to buy food, and those generous members of the public who buy food for the homeless are not around like they used to be. Homeless charities are reporting record numbers of people needing help with food, clothing and accommodation, so what is it really like to live on the streets? All homeless people featured in the documentary were provided with support outside of filming to help them find accommodation and they were provided with a dedicated outreach person to liaise with the authorities on their behalf.

Following the success of 'Squeal', 'Thursday the 12th' and 'Shunt', Frank Shony is a director on the up. Following a very lucky break, Steven successfully manages to get the chance to pitch his film to a bunch of film funders, and pitches the idea of 'Night of the Living Slasher' being a revolutionary new horror film which will help reignite the feigning and overdone horror industry. Impressed with him, the funding body give him the go ahead on one condition; they make a making of film, which he accepts to. Stevens lack of producing ability to successfully produce to the level needed, though the enthusiasm is clear to be seen, is clearly obvious, with this being his first time producing. This combined with Franks wavering interest in the horror genre, hinting he wants to enter the musical business, and drinking problem means there are problems throughout. The crew they have are not as professional as Steven wished for, with them all having their little own personal trait hampering the filming, making silly mistakes throughout, arguing a lot. 'Night of the Living Slasher' and its production values could not be any less with each of their traits shining through during production. The camera op Ben Meele has a low attention span and an inability to use the camera given to him, this means he is constantly getting in shot and the sound op Tom Williams always eating crisps, to calm his nerves, with the munching sound coming through on the sound. The editor is the only normal one amongst them, but is fired due to the unrealistic expectations of the director, with him wanting her to get rid of the mistakes, with her being unable to. 'Night of the Living Slasher' is the behind the scenes footage, a sort of mockumentary type comedy containing interviews with the cast and crew.
