Should Be Left For Dead
boblipton15 November 2023
Ten years before the main events in the movie, Robert Frazer was granted a divorce from Barbara Bedford and sole custody of their son. So she took him to the jungles of the Rio Grande * although Frazer followed her in a railroad for a while. Now living far from civilization with only her butler, Edwin Cross to keep them from perishing, son Maurice Murphy is glad she did, because his father is a terrible human being who would have taught him to hate her. But he's curious about other people, so when animal hunters come to the jungle and try to take his bear, he and mom are distressed. Meanwhile, he has daily necking sessions with a local lovely, which Miss Bedford discovers by having Cross trail him, which is not spying, because she loves him.

As you might guess, I have issues with the story, and also the execution. Also the print was poor. Other than those issues, it was poor.

* Some research indicates there are no jungles along the Rio Grande that makes up part of the border between Mexico and Texas, but there is one in Puerto Rico, and is the only jungle managed by the US Parks Department. She she arrived there by car bordering the railroad tracks, and there are bears and rattlesnakes, I is confoozed.
