- TriviaThe heavy object Stan pulls into the car when Ollie cannot get it moving forward is called a horse anchor or weight. These were used when there was no hitching post available. The weight was tied to the horse's halter or bridle and placed on the ground. This was usually enough to keep the horse in place until its owner returned.
- GoofsThe trunk is set on fire and flips around in the air, then lands upside down. But in the very next shot, it is shown right-side up.
- Alternate versionsWhen released on video with Video Treasures, the following scene was removed: When Ollie accidentally get's his head stuck in the head of the bed Stan helps him pull it out. The video release showed the Before and After of the gag instead of the middle, so it cuts right to the broken bed head and Ollie rubbing his neck.

Simple Laurel & Hardy short but has some absolute hilarious moments in it.
This is a very simple made Laurel & Hardy short with an almost non-existent and not that great story. However the gags in the movie are absolutely hilarious and are the reason why this is one of the better Laurel & Hardy comedy shorts.
It's a very consistent movie that remains funny throughout its entire running time. It has some absolute priceless visual jokes in it and a really funny ending.
It's always fun to see Walter Long in a villainous role in any Laurel & Hardy movie, so this one included. He probably is also one of the reasons that makes this movie oh so fun and hilarious to watch. Also a couple of other Laurel & Hardy regulars show up again.
Simple comedy short but the humor in it is absolutely priceless and its timing spot-on!
