- I believe the one of the final scenes might be found to be frightening to either very young children or very sensitive children.It is where Spanky's mother has her dress caught on the rising stage curtain and the entire theater is laughing at her predicament.After her dress has been torn off her the son rushes up a stage prop and tries to hide her with it but it backfires big time as it has a carricature of a dog's body on it with the mother's head resting on top of it making it look like the mother has been turned into a dog with her own human head.
