- The stooges are trainers of Chopper, the boxer, and they bet their bank roll on his next fight. But his manager is a gangster who orders them to have Chopper lose or else. When Chopper's girl goes for his opponent, Stooge things happen.
- The stooges are managers of "Chopper", a beefy boxer, and they bet their bank roll on his next fight. When a gangster tells them to have Chopper lose or they'll lose their lives, the boys decide to play along. They try to soften Chopper up by feeding him rich food and having him spend time with their friend Kitty. The fight gets canceled when Kitty dumps Chopper for his opponent and the two boxers engage in some pre-match fisticuffs that result in a broken hand for the opponent. The stooges think they've put one over on the gangsters, only to have the bad guys corner them in a deserted warehouse. Instead of being rubbed out, the boys capture the crooks and get a reward.—Mitch Shapiro <mshapiro@a.crl.com>
- The Stooges are owners of the Muscle Manor Gymnasium, struggling to train future heavyweight champion boxer Chopper Kane for an upcoming fight. To get him into shape, Moe and Larry suggest Chopper spar a few rounds and volunteer a reluctant Shemp as a sparring partner. At the same time, the Stooges' friend, Kitty Davis, comes in and Larry introduces her to Chopper, who gets smitten with her. Shemp's boxing techniques, however, are not up to snuff and is pummeled, sending his head into a pail of water. As Moe and Larry tend to Shemp, two thugs arrive and verbally warn them to make sure Chopper loses the fight, as their boss Big Mike has rigged it to ensure Chopper's opponent Gorilla Watson will win. However, since the Stooges have bet all of their money on Chopper, Larry suggests that he keep bringing Kitty to the gym to distract Chopper and Moe decides to build Chopper up on fattening foods to soften him up.
On the night of the fight, the Stooges nervously pace back and forth, wondering where Chopper is, who shows up red-faced as Kitty threw him over for Watson and vows to clobber him to death, as well as smashing a cream puff into Shemp's face and storming inside the arena. Moe takes the cream puff and attempts to hit Shemp, but it splatters on Watson's face. His manager tries to hold him back, but Watson grabs Moe and accidentally punches the brick wall, breaking his hand and calling the fight off. The Stooges think they are in the clear, but Big Mike and his thugs show up to inform them that Big Mike has bet $100,000 for Watson to win. The crooks drag the Stooges to a nearby warehouse, where the crooks attempt to bump them off. Shemp manages to blindside them and a wild chase ensues, which ends when Shemp covers the floor with moth balls, causing the crooks to slip and get knocked out. One attempts to shoot Shemp, as the cops arrive to take them away, but misses and hits a red paint can on a shelf, causing the paint to trickle onto Shemp's shirt. Thinking he is dying, Shemp passes out, as Moe tearfully says he still owes Shemp $5, causing Shemp to wake up and demanding the money.
