Sex & Nudity

  • Much of the film focuses on an alleged rape which occurs off screen.
  • The lead female character is demonstrably provocative in her posing and coming on to her husband's lawyer and others. But there is no actual sex or nudity onscreen at all.
  • However, there is much explicit discussion of a rape.

Violence & Gore

  • The film revolves around a murder which occurred offscreen but was discussed in detail.
  • Paul was angry during the court scene and slammed his opponents' table.
  • Lt. Manion was teased in jail and he was in a small fight with that man.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Paul's anger scene is a little intense.

  • The court scenes are intense as the competing parties were VERY verbally rough.
  • The plot of this film is dark.
