Mostly Horrendous

What is wrong with people? How could anyone give this movie an A+? Even though it's still not right hopefully it was jokingly. There's just no way people honestly believed this to be a magnificent movie. No way. Magnificent junk, yes. Magnificent like Casablanca? Not even close. This movie was so bad. Why oh why was it made? I almost feel violated after watching it. This schlop violated my brain, my intelligence, my appreciation for well directed and edited motion picture making. The whole fighting the leopard scene was just so so so bad as was the crocodile wrestling and the super-imposed fire that often appeared to be floating in the air and not actually burning anything. And the mountains, yeah, whatever! There are some rather large, snowcapped mountains in Africa but what was here was NOT those. These looked more like the Alps, Himalayas, or something in the western United States. Ugh. What was the budget for this movie, like 60 bucks? I hope somewhere in the world right now people feel ashamed for being involved in this production. If those people are deceased then I hope their relatives do. After saying all that it would almost be out of place to praise this movie in any way but I feel I must. As disgusted as I was I thoroughly enjoyed the chimpanzee-human interaction, very enjoyable that was but that was all that was enjoyable. This could have been worse, it could have put me asleep but it did keep my attention. I'm going to be generous here and not give this a really really bad grade, I'm giving it an F+
