- Cop on Pier: You waited seven years to report your husband's disappearance?
- The Dealer - Mrs. Clover: I only started to miss him this morning.
- Wade Lewis: For we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against powers of this world. But... but don't worry, here we meet, in this castle of lost souls. In the land of the black Swan, the Prince of Darkness. Welcome little captive, to the waterfall of sweet dreams. Malora says it washes all our cares away, but I... I need stronger stuff.
- Gloria Clover Goslett: This whole place smells of beans, where can we go for some coffee?
- Daisy Clover: Brazil!
- The Dealer - Mrs. Clover: Daisy, what're you doing?
- Daisy Clover: Cooking fish burgers, and beans and hot chocolate, it's my birthday and I want a party, damn it.
- The Dealer - Mrs. Clover: Stay off those four letter words, there're too many of them around.
- Daisy Clover: [to her mother] Don't go, don't go, it's alright, nobody's ever going to come for you again.
- [last lines]
- man on beach: [while passing Daisy on the beach as she strolls carefreely away from her cottage home that she just purposefully exploded by turning on the gas stove] Hey, what happened back there?
- Daisy Clover: [shrugs and yells] Someone declared war!
- The Dealer - Mrs. Clover: [to Gloria] Go away, go away!
- [closes trailer door]
- Gloria Clover Goslett: She's gotten worse.
- Daisy Clover: How the hell would you know? You haven't seen her for over a year!
- The Dealer - Mrs. Clover: That hearse is still outside, go away, go away!
- Daisy Clover: Oh it's going away alright Old Chap, with me in it!
- The Dealer - Mrs. Clover: [to Daisy] Today's your birthday which means your sister Gloria forgot it. Well just for that, I'm going to forget hers.
- Daisy Clover: [as the cop drives away] SOME PEOPLE GOT NO SENSE OF HUMOR!
- The Dealer - Mrs. Clover: Yeah!
- Raymond Swan: I'm dismissing your nurse, and I'm giving you one hour to get out of that bed, get dressed, showered, perfumed, all by yourself, and then back to work.
- Daisy Clover: To pay the devil its dues?
- [first lines]
- Daisy Clover: [monologue narration thoughts while sitting on a trash can in an alley] The 24th of August, 1936; Angel Beach California, USA, the world, the universe; Angel Beach. Happy birthday Daisy Clover. I'm 15 today, but I won't let it go to my head. I'm still the same happy, adjusted, polite young lady. People say I'm quite sophisticated for my age. That's only skin deep. Underneath the veneer, Ill bet my simple, healthy instincts against yours any day!
- [proceeds to write 'My sister Gloria is a pile of garbage' on the wall behind her with chalk]
- Raymond Swan: I *could* have you arrested.
- Wade Lewis: [suddenly very uncomfortable upon hearing this] Uhh... What.. What charge would you have in mind?
- Raymond Swan: Oh.. America's Little Valentine just happens to be jail-bait.
- Raymond Swan: [to Daisy, who is lying in bed after her breakdown, refusing to go back to work at the studio] Listen. I'm dismissing your nurse anyway. You'll get up, or you'll lie here and you'll starve and if you starve I'll sue you! We're legally in business for five years and you're legally fit to work! Still not rough enough? Like to play again? All right. You don't *cost* me money, you MAKE it! Picture's a big investment, I want it finished. Afterwards... I don't care what happens to you. There's more where you came from. I'll just write you off.
- Daisy Clover: [newly married to Wade Lewis] I'm gonna learn how to cook. And not just your fish burgers and hot chocolate. Real gourmet muck. From now on, that's it. Goodbye, America's little Valentine. Hello, Mrs. Wade Lewis.
- Wade Lewis: Dear heart... Didn't you get my postcard? I wrote you one.
- Daisy Clover: Didn't get it.
- Wade Lewis: Didn't send it.
- Daisy Clover: What'd it say?
- Wade Lewis: [quoting] Nymph, in thy orisons/ Be all my sins remembered.
- Daisy Clover: What's "orisons?"
- Wade Lewis: Prayers.
- Daisy Clover: Well, then, why didn't you say so?
- Wade Lewis: It's from Hamlet.
- Daisy Clover: Oh. Well, I wouldn't have got it if you *had* sent it.
