It's not a comedy, it's a pure drama.

It's also one of the most boring films made by Marco Ferreri. The whole movie Mastroianni does nothing but to inflate balloons until they break and, in the end, he kills himself, jumping out of the window. But the way it's done and acted makes even this boring film great too, like all that Ferreri did. Even the big dog is good in his role. The only problem, my problem, is that Ugo Tognazzi appears only for a minute, at the end of the movie. I've waited the whole film to see the super talented Tognazzi, and I was disappointed, his role is tiny tiny.
