Several stories about couples who receive the news that they are going to be parents. Mercedes (María José Alfonso) and Alejandro (Alfredo Landa) are recently married and receive the news with enthusiasm. Margarita (Carmen Bernardos) and Juan (Franco Ressel) have been married for a long time but it will also be their first child for them. But the pregnant situation for Enrique (Alberto Bonucci) and Ines (Gracita Morales) does not come as a surprise to them because this is the eighth time for them. Leopoldo (José Luis Lopez Vazquez) and Luisa (Julieta Serrano) have been in this situation several times, but this is the first time that the pregnancy is real. The reaction of the parents, the cravings of the pregnant women, the search for the name of the children, everything is always the same, and always different.
