Below average movie about boxer Pedro Carrasco and his misadventures in the Navy and the Ring
ma-cortes11 January 2021
Pedro Montero : Pedro Carrasco is a Spanish man who left Spain and has got certain success as a boxer in Brazil and Italy. After many doubts , he return Spain where is called to draft in the military service, recruiting in the Navy. There he goes on his career as a boxer thanks to a promoter : Antonio Garisa and his former coach : Angel De Andrés . Ultimately , Pedro participates at the European boxsig championship but a previous Italian girlfriend : Sonia Bruno comes to Spain to make difficult his training and physical preparation .

A very mediocre film to glorify the boxing career of the boxer Pedro Carrasco in his best moment as an international sportsman . However , he really achieved extreme popularity on the tabloids for his wedding to the most famous singer , Rocio Jurado , as well as his early death . Pedro Carrasco gives a lousy acting in his first and only film . He is well accompanied by a great number of comedian actors and other familiar faces as Angel de Andrés as a trainer , Roberto Camardiel, Antonio Garisa , José Sazatornil Saza , Goyo Lebrero, Maria Kosty , Jose Maria Tasso Flequillo , Maria Martin ,and the regular comical actor Andrés Pajares

The usually solvent Rafael Gil directs this regular film with full of flaws and failures . Rafael was considered to be one of the best Spanish filmmakers , shooting several vintage movies , such as : Don Quijote De La Mancha , El Clavo , La Fe , La Señora de Fátima, Aventuras de Juan Lucas , La Reina Santa , La Guerra de Dios , El Beso de Judas . And he made various films about Bullfighting World as Currito de la Cruz , El Litri y su Sombra , El Relicario, Chantaje a un Torero , Sangre en el Ruedo . His worst films were in the Seventies and Eighties such as : A la legion le gustan las mujeres , Hijos de Papa , Y al tercer año resucito , Boda del Señor Cura , De Camisa Vieja a Chaqueta nueva , Las Autonosuyas, most of them based on Fernando Vizcaíno Casas books .
