Spanish Vampiric Stuff Hammer Style!

An atmospheric (though amateurishly acted) vampire story released in 1973, still tells of a woman doctor (Lacy) and her assistant Erika (Sorel) who are invited by Carl von Rysselbert (Ney), the son of a dying baron, to stay in his sinister mansion by a lake. Ney and Sorel became lovers, but under the influence of the full moon, he vampirizes her and late attacks the doctor as well. One night villagers see Sorel rising from the lake in response to Ney's call. The place only returns to normal after Ney has been stacked and Lacy has left the area. Although made for Spanish domestic consumption, the film had a limited circulation in other European countries. Elorrieta specialized in action pictures and had helped one of his regular stars, Jorge Martin, with his directorial début 'Escalofrio Diabolico'. His other horror films include 'Las Amantes del Diablo' (1971) and 'El Espectro del Terror' (1972).
